This tour will cover much of the island, its history, and historic sites. I will play a 45-minute documentary giving you an good introduction as we drive to Galveston on our drip-down movie screens. This is a mostly driving tour that also incorporates about 1 hour to walk and shop along the historic Strand Street. We will have other stops for photo taking. Galveston was the largest city in Texas in 1870 and 1880 and was the wealthiest city as well until the 1900 Great Storm. The Great Storm was a monster hurricane that killed at least 6,000 people on September 8th. More people died in this Galveston hurricane than ALL other hurricanes that have hit the mainland US in history. On the return trip, we can show you the documentary Isaac's Storm from the History Channel. This will be fun-filled, entertaining and educational tour of a once great city that is still a fun place to vacation.

This tour only has 1 stop: Space Center Houston (SCH). SCH is connected to NASA or the Johnson Space Center (JSC), where the astronauts train and the engineers work. We will walk over 5,000 steps at SCH as I plan on showing as much as possible in the main building and in the additional buildings, Rocket Park and the Astronauts Training Facility, where the trams take tourists. I will talk a lot about the space program, tying the past to the present, and future explorations.

This is the only intact Saturn V rocket that exists. It was put together from left over parts of what would have been Apollos 18, 19, and 20.

Wonderful experience!

Beyond Expectations

This must do (evening 4 hour tour of all San Antonio hot spots was beyond expectations. Plenty of time up the Tower of Americas, to visit the Alamo, Astrodome, Emily Morgan hotel, and take in the cathedral light show. etc. Rene was the best guide ever. Our Hop-On Hop-Off tour in Dallas was an absolutely wonderful experience, and a big part of that was our tour guide, Kenny. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made the tour both fun and informative by sharing interesting facts and stories about the city. Despite the hot Texas weather, Kenny went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable. He provided cold bottled water and handheld fans, which were such thoughtful touches and made a huge difference throughout the tour. What impressed us the most was his kindness and professionalism. Kenny was warm, considerate, and genuinely cared about his guests. He always opened the van door for us, making everyone feel welcomed and well taken care of. His courteous and gentlemanly attitude truly stood out and made our experience even more memorable. A great start to any Trip!

This was a great place to start any experience in Waco. The tour guide not only gave you the highlights of the town, but shared the things not to miss. Had we taken the tour at the end, we would have missed them. So definitely take this tour at the beginning. And thank you to the guide who so graciously shared her insights with us!! What a fantastic way to dive into Austin’s music scene! Our small group rode comfortably in a Mercedes van while our guide, Trace, and driver, Kelty, shared great stories and insights about the city’s musical history. We visited three iconic venues—The White Horse, Donn’s Depot, and The Continental—each with its own distinct vibe and sound. As new Austin residents with visiting guests, we especially appreciated having a designated driver so we could relax and enjoy the night without worrying about driving and parking. The pace was just right, and we had so much fun dancing, listening to great music, and soaking in the atmosphere. Spring break get away!

The bus/shuttle drivers were very friendly and easy going. Everything was organized and I didnt have to worry about any details. The wine tastings were fabulous with very knowledgeable leaders. There was a little too much down time between wine tastings, I would have loved to have a glass when we were traveling between tastings but maybe we could have (i didnt ask though).
