Beauty, nature and adventure…

We had an amazing experience! Arnondo took great care of us (family of four with two tweens/teens)! Some parts were somewhat challenging but he guided us through and made sure we were all safe. Wear shoes that go well on trails and in water. My daughter’s croc fell off a couple of times in the water, but my son’s were fine - make sure they fit securely. They provide dry bags to keep your items dry. You don’t need to bring much. We were even fine without drinking water. A great adventure with a beautiful destination! Ended with a sense of accomplishment. Highly recommend!

Wonderful excursion!

Great time! Alex was a wonderful guide and host. It's a lot of walking, but worth it. The waterfalls felt great to swim in, and the jungle walk was gorgeous. If you're doing this on a hot day, keep in mind you will be very sweaty. It's a long, hot, walking day! And a great way to see sloths, frogs, and all sorts of fun wildlife that if you're like us, won't see at home! Most of our group did the entire excursion in flip flops and shorts, but maybe we're crazy. (Just throwing it out there because we didn't know what we should wear, and overpacked long pants and hiking shoes.) We drove to waterfalls, it's a short, semi steep, narrow walk down to falls. You can swim, etc. We went down in bathing suits and sandals. Going back up is obviously more work, so we recommend going up wet to stay cool. We dried off at van, changed, and then were driven to jungle. First, lunch. Then, hike. Then coffee. It was a full day and length depends on traffic, weather, etc. So just plan for a full day, pack a towel, and enjoy!

Excellent family tour - great for young kids; outstanding guides!

Excellent experience all around. Timely pickup/dropoff, comfortable transportation, knowledgeable and extremely friendly guide, and well rounded itinerary which included a bit of everything! Carlos was a phenomenal tour guide and Maria at the rainforest sloth tour was an outstanding wildlife spotter and resource! Excellent trip for families with young kids. Highly recommend considering the private tour option which we considered a great value and well worth the additional cost.

A Day Full of Activity & Fun!

We had a great time with Bernie as our guide & Sedar as our driver! There was so much activity packed into the day. You do feel a little rushed to do it all, but it’s so worth it to do every activity. We had so much fun with the horse back riding and then the cultural pottery & sugar cane experience. The zip lining was fun, however just be aware that it’s a long trek uphill on hanging bridges and stairs to get to them all. I had to take a break before continuing uphill to the last zip line and Bernie was so wonderful and stayed behind with me and my husband while I caught my breath, he never rushed me and even went and found me water from one of the zip line operators. Bernie and Sedar do an excellent job of working as a team so that if some of the group is going slower, there is always someone with you. The jungle water slide was amazing, just nice to be in water after being in the heat for so long. And then our FAVORITE was the thermal baths & volcanic mud. My husband and I could have stayed there so much longer, but that’s definitely our vibe and not everyone else’s. We would go back just to spend the day there. All in all, it was a super jam packed fun experience!

10/10 recommend!! This tour offers all that you need; Wildlife, hiking, delicious authentic food, river tubing, and last a 500 y/o peace tree. Our group opted for the private tour with Carlos—best decision! We were a group of girls and never once felt uncomfortable or unsafe. Carlos was kind, knowledgeable, fun and we were able to go at our own pace (while staying on a schedule). Thank you Carlos!! Also, I’d like to add two things, I’m pregnant and everything you do is pregnancy safe (check with your OB obviously first). And I would recommend tennis shoes or hiking boots on the hike to Rio Celeste the terrain can be wet and rocky in some areas. Two of us did it in water shoes which was fine, but would have been more comfortable in other footwear.

Travel with ease

Our private driver from… & to, the Liberia airport could not have been better. When we arrived, our 6 person van & driver was waiting…and after a very long day of travel it was a great way to begin our holiday. After our two week stay, Guillermo (sp?) was also, on time & made sure to find us at our Airbnb in Taramindo. He was especially, a pleasure to talk to & drove on a more comfortable road than we previously experienced. Thank you for making this a stress-less experience.

Fun and friendly guides. Cool Experience

Our group of six people had a fun time on this excursion. The ATV's were in good condition. The guides were friendly and fun. They took us to several beaches and it was fun driving through typical Costa Rican neighborhoods. This was well worth the money and I would do it again. A few in our group said it was their favorite thing they did on our trip.

We highly recommend this...

We highly recommend this combination of ATV touring and zip lining. My wife and I each drove our own ATVs. There was instruction and a little practice area that allowed us to become familiar with the vehicles. Our Tour Leader, Hilmar, was WONDERFUL and provided great instruction. The ride up to the zip lining course took about 25 minutes. There were two guides who expertly led us down the 9 different zip lines. The duration was about 45 minutes. At the bottom, Hilmar was waiting with our ATVs, to lead us on the 25 minute trip back to main office. The ATV ride is very dusty. Definitely wear a bandana across your face and clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.

What an exhilarating...

What an exhilarating experience!! It was my & my partner’s 1st time zip lining but our 4 kids had experienced it before. Zip lining in the rain forest was amazing! We saw so many monkeys and baby monkeys too! Our tour guides were amazing: Juan and Starling (hope I spelled that right!). Safety was a very high priority to them. I’d highly recommend this!

Fun ride to beaches

This ride was fun, and safe! Some of us were first timers, some were more experienced. It was fun riding through the dirt roads to get to the beaches. Our tour guide was great and he kept the pace just right. The tour company was very accommodating when one participant couldn’t make it last minute due to illness.
