Frogs, sloths and more

Honestly this activity is worth it. The driver was great, guides were great. I saw a ton of animals (5 sloths, viper, dart frogs and more). Our guide was like and expert photographer too and got me the best photos of the wildlife. They were also very respectful. This is not an unethical tour where you're going to touch the wildlife. You observe in their natural habitat. After that, our driver took us to a less touristy swim spot with the bluest water I've ever seen in my life. Our family members did a similar but different tour and there's was 3 hours longer and they seemed to see way less and have less fun. It is a full day experience, but I highly recommend.

Fantastic Tour

Leona waterfall hike was perfect. Best part of our week in Costa Rica. Very well organized. Guides provided a wet bag to carry phone and water bottle. Recommend a waterproof case for your phone for pictures so you have it easily accessible. Hot at the beach but it was nice and pleasant and shady for the hike. Highly recommend.

The experience provides a superior variety of activties that speak flora, fauna, and geography of Costa Rica. Carlos, the driver and guide, made experience exceptional. I was traveling solo on this activity but made 8 new human friends while making acquaintance with 3-toed sloth, a few howler monkeys, and a red-eyed green tree frog near a notable spring of water.

Lovely Boat Tour

This was an amazing experience. Both drivers picking us up and taking us back to Riu Guanacaste (Christian and Pablo) were very kind. Christian gave us great information about his country and the area. Our boat tour guide, Moses, was a wealth of information about the river and its inhabitants. We saw howler monkeys, crocodiles, crabs, all sorts of birds, and even a couple of cute raccoons playing. I was with my 4 grandkids and they all had a great time! I highly recommend but there is an additional travel fee if coming from outside the Tamarindo area so be sure to ask. The travel fee was very much worth it as we also got to see other beach communities with their own vibe along the way and went through the mountains.

Beautiful!

The scenery was beautiful. There were 31 on board, a great crowd. The captain and workers were very friendly. We saw two whales but no dolphins. There was an hour and a half stop at a tiny beach for snorkeling. You can stay on the boat if you prefer. They offer rum punch, beer, and a pink flamingo drink as well as a variety of tacos. There is a bathroom on the boat. If you are outside of the pickup zone they will pick you up for a fee. I stayed at the RIU in Guanacaste.

This is a must do! We...

This is a must do! My family and I had a fantastic time! Christian was welcoming and accommodating. We arrived a little early but it wasn’t a problem, Christian was ready for us. He took great care of us. We saw local neighborhoods and beautiful scenery on the way to the two amazing beaches! Make sure you bring a bandana/buff. If you are in the Tamarindo area, you can’t miss this fun excursion!

Super day!

Arriving at meet-up point was a little chaotic, but everyone at the beach was helpful and pointed us to the right place. The time on the catamaran was fantastic. Great bartender and good food. We saw whales, stingrays and the bioluminescence of the algae on our way back to shore. Recommend!

Great way to start off our trip.

Cristian was a fantastic guide. He spotted some howler monkeys and stopped for us to get pictures and videos and the place that he took us to for Pina Colada's was so good that we went back on our own the next day for more. It was just me and my husband on the tour too which was nice. Would definitely recommend.

We highly recommend this...

We highly recommend this combination of ATV touring and zip lining. My wife and I each drove our own ATVs. There was instruction and a little practice area that allowed us to become familiar with the vehicles. Our Tour Leader, Hilmar, was WONDERFUL and provided great instruction. The ride up to the zip lining course took about 25 minutes. There were two guides who expertly led us down the 9 different zip lines. The duration was about 45 minutes. At the bottom, Hilmar was waiting with our ATVs, to lead us on the 25 minute trip back to main office. The ATV ride is very dusty. Definitely wear a bandana across your face and clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.

What an exhilarating...

What an exhilarating experience!! It was my & my partner’s 1st time zip lining but our 4 kids had experienced it before. Zip lining in the rain forest was amazing! We saw so many monkeys and baby monkeys too! Our tour guides were amazing: Juan and Starling (hope I spelled that right!). Safety was a very high priority to them. I’d highly recommend this!

Excellent and fun experience

Excellent tour with our guide Juan. Tour was prompt and the ATV’s were very easy to operate, even for a novice. Beautiful beaches to swim in if you choose. Great smoothies at one of the beaches. Pretty dusty during the dry season as expected. We had no issue but might want a bandana for for your nose/mouth if you have any breathing issues/asthma.
