Amazing experience with Dayro
This was an INCREDIBLE experience!!! We would highly recommend this when in Costa Rica. It was cultural, exciting and unique. Dayro’s hospitality and company was phenomenal — we were lucky enough to be the only ones on the tour for that day so we got a great personalized experience.
You have the option to choose the order of the events, we chose to do the waterfalls first, rainforest next and finished with the coffee and chocolate experience. I would HIGHLY recommend this order!!! We arrived to the waterfalls at 7:55am, waiting until it opened at 8am. We were the only ones there for about 25 minutes, we got to swim and get photos alone in the falls. On our way up the stairs there were lines of vans coming in with large groups of people so we were extremely grateful to have had almost a full 30 minutes of silence, a private waterfall experience with ourselves, Dayro and the nature around us.
The rainforest was phenomenal — we saw sloths hanging in the trees with their babies on them, monkeys swinging, toucans, a pit viper snakes and frogs; Dayro had two types of binoculars we got the best views and photos/videos of the animals.
The coffee & chocolate experience was also amazing, the guides were great and they have a great shop with authentic coffee, chocolate beauty products and more!!
To end, we had an amazing lunch with Dayro, authentic food, great mango juice and they even have a butterfly garden at the lunch spot which we had some time to walk through together.
10/10 amazing time!! We gave a bit of a tip to the rainforest guides, the coffee/chocolate guides and of course to Dayro at the end so it is recommended to bring some cash since there are different guides throughout some of the experiences :)

Amazing! We went last...
Amazing! We went last month and I can’t remember our guides name but he was amazing. Very informed and answered any questions we had about the area. Honestly he was AMAZING. The sloth tour was amazing as well. Nothing crazy exotic but the guide for that pointed out all native animals and showed us how to take expert photos. Had a beautiful time and loved the food

Amazing!
My friend and I had such a wonderful experience with La Muda! They made our first time surfing such an easy and smooth experience. We were very nervous going into it but the knowledge and kindness of all the instructors was amazing. It was also very easy to find on the beach with Isabella’s instructions. I would recommend to anyone booking a surf lesson to go with them.

Carlos was a wonderful...
Carlos was a wonderful guide. We drove out to meet him from Hermosa, expected to be about 100 minutes. There was a wreck on Route 1 that stopped the highway entirely. We called and asked if rebooking was an option due to the issue on the highway. They said as long as we were not going to be more than an hour late, no problem or they would have refunded almost all of the money. The nature tour was awesome. We saw multiple types of life: poison dart frogs (up very close, picture quality is National Geographic with an iPhone) a tapir, multiple sloths( one about 3 feet away) toucans, a host of other birds, a couple of snakes, a baby viper and even a tapir from maybe 10 feet away. Our tour guide and the local site guide were so enthusiastic and willing to help with pictures for everything. The hike up to the Celeste Waterfall was worth every moment, easy hike, great views and incredibly scenic. It rained every 15 or so minutes but you are in the rain forest. Poncho not really needed. Lunch was the local fair and all in our group ( my wife, two daughters, 22 and 20 and one of their boyfriends were all thrilled.). The tubing trip through the Celeste River from the same water fall was not just a tube float trip. Class 1-2 rapids and you actually get some excitement. Rope swings, trees loaded with monkeys and the guides were fun. We had some local fruit ( so fresh!) snacks and were on our way to visit a tree. Do not skip the tree part! Some argue it’s 1,000 years old and others argue more. It’s humbling and amazing at the same time. Perfectly safe to do the drive on your own but take a 4wd if coming from the coast. Thank you Carlos!!!

Jason is Awesome
Last minute adventure we signed up the day before and lucky for us, we had Jason as our guide and we had all his attention as we were the only 2 people he had for the day! Jason was very knowable, sweet and very kind! He made sure of our safety and let us take our time. Lunch was great and delicious! Awesome experience 😊! Shout out to Jason and Magda 🥰

Moises, our guide, was informative and interesting. He was able to show us numerous crocodiles, monkeys, and cute raccoons all in their natural habitat. It was a great experiences and I am happy that we were able to see this beautiful part of Costa Rica!.

Friendly Great Experience
Overall a must do in Costa Rica! A zip line adventure thats family owned. The employees were friendly and welcoming. The whole thing is safe and secure. In our group a 3yr old did it! (Zip lined attached with his parents). Drove in to the zip line adventure location. You can select for pick-up but it was no problem getting there with a rental! Make sure to wear sunblock and Hydrate! A few steep climbs but the zipping cools you down. Will do again!!! PURA VIDA

Awesome Adventure
100% closed toes shoes!
Bring your smile, you will have to best time with Sebastian and Alfredo.
They were so patient with us, taught us about the Costa Rican culture. Along with the adventures of cliff jumping, white water tubing, and a nice hike to LaLeona waterfall.
Then a great lunch at a local place.

Highly Recommend!
We loved this excursion! Gabriel was awesome! He was so knowledgeable and engaging. He was very professional and personable. We learned a ton about the diversity of Costa Rica's flora and fauna. The hike was the fun and interesting. Lunch was yummy and in a nice setting. Our waterfall swim was refreshing and the mud bath/hot springs were relaxing.

A great day, a great guy and a great boat driver
Juan was a wonderful tour guide!
The group size was fantastic, nine people.
Both Juan and the boat driver were superb at finding wildlife as we cruised the banks.
The lunch was delicious with very nicely prepared fish with local accompaniments. They were very accommodating for some strict dietary guidelines that one of our friends had. I myself have some physical limitations that they were careful and accommodating with concern about my welfare and my ability to enjoy the day.
We would certainly recommend this to anyone and would consider redoing this trip if we return.

Great party atmosphere!!...
Great party atmosphere!! We had a wild time! This is a great tour to do if you just recently arrived in Tamarindo and are ready to party! The guide was fun and he always made sure that no one got left behind. The locations that you visit are all beautiful and different from one another. The bus ride home at the end was out of control - in a crazy good way! Bring a small cooler so you can drink on the bus. I wouldn’t recommend this tour for non-drinkers!

Exactly the excursion we were looking for in Tamarindo
Our excursion with Carlos was absolutely incredible. The tubing and cliff jumping/rope swinging into the lagoon was so much fun. The second trip which included a jungle hike (we saw howler monkeys, snakes, and iguanas) and swimming through a raging river in a cave to one of the most beautiful waterfalls we’ve ever seen was like nothing we’ve ever done before. Our local lunch was peaceful and delicious before the final hike and massive waterfall. We enjoyed free coconut water and story after story from our guide Carlos, who made sure we had as authentically local of a trip as possible. He also provided water, tea, beer, snacks, and stopped for bathrooms/quick shops whenever we asked. Carlos could not have been a more fun or knowledgeable guide - if you are considering booking this excursion, do it. There is zero chance you will regret it. Pura Vida!
