We did the atv/jet ski tour. The people at 506 are super friendly. We watched a brief video on safety then we headed out on the atv. We were mostly in shaded areas which was nice. We headed to the beach where we met ip with the jet ski guides. The water was so blue!! And warm. We even got to jump off a cliff.

The Highlight of a Tamarindo Family Trip

Our family of seven booked the private combined ATV and jet ski tour with 506 Tours in Costa Rica, and it ended up being one of the absolute highlights of our entire vacation. From start to finish, the experience felt personal, flexible, and really well organized. The team was responsive before the tour, clear about what to expect, and made sure everything was set up for our group size and comfort level. The ATV portion of the tour was a blast and a perfect warm-up for the day. The guides took time to match each of us with the right machine, made sure everyone (including less experienced riders) felt safe and confident, and adjusted the pace so our whole family could stay together. We rode through a mix of dirt roads and trails with beautiful views of the countryside, passing through small local areas and scenic spots that we never would have found on our own. It was adventurous without feeling rushed or risky, especially important with a larger family group. As fun as the ATVs were, the jet ski adventure was the clear highlight for everyone. Once we got out on the water, the scenery was simply incredible—crystal-clear ocean, dramatic coastline, and views that made the whole family stop and just take it in. The guides positioned us perfectly for photos and gave us time to enjoy swimming and playing in the water, not just racing from point A to point B. They balanced thrill and safety really well: those who wanted to go faster had the chance, while others could take it at a more relaxed pace and still feel fully included. Being out on the open water together, surrounded by Costa Rica’s coastline, became one of those core memories we’ll be talking about for years. What really set 506 Tours apart was the quality of the guides and how customizable the experience was. They were friendly, patient, and genuinely fun to be around—explaining local landmarks, sharing bits of Costa Rican culture, and checking in on each person throughout the day. They let us tweak the schedule a bit, gave us options on where to go and how long to spend at certain spots, and really listened to what our family wanted out of the tour. That flexibility made the whole day feel like it was designed just for us, not a one-size-fits-all tour. For families or groups looking for something special in Costa Rica, this private ATV and jet ski tour with 506 Tours is highly recommended. We had an awesome time. Very efficient staff and our guide Hilmar was professional and made super we had fun! This is a MUST tour with teens as if included ATV and jet ski! You actually drive an hour through rugged terrain to get to beach to then go on jet ski for fast phenomenal ride for an hour! My teens absolutely loved it!

This was a great Costa Rica experience, worth the price! Our guide Hilmar gave us full attention for 5 hours. We started with an ATV drive to the beach by backroads, then a thrilling jet ski trip up the coast visiting 4 or 5 beaches. It was a great afternoon!
