A Day in St. Andrew's
Our trip to saint Andrews was a wonderful experience even with some spotty weather! We loved exploring St. Andrew's Cathedral and the University. My husband, an avid golfer, was delighted with the walking tour of the Old Course and our lunch at Old Tom Morris Grill. Our driver and guide, Iain, provided much more than safe transport; he was the distillation of the perfect Scottish gentleman and it was a treat to see this part of the country under his wing.

St. Andrews overview
Excellent tour guide. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Saw quite a bit in a short period of time, which is what the tour was designed for. Would have loved to spend more time at several of the sites and also to have visited the famous bridge on the old course. 👍

It’s a great way to learn about all facets of St Andrew’s: golf course, the university and history. The city is beautiful and definitely worth a visit. It’s an easy trip from Edinburgh.

How interesting the story...
Understanding the historical events that brought to what St Andrews today, the establishment of one of the oldest universities in UK, the transition from being a Catholic nation to Lutherian protestants and of course the invention of the golf game.

Family trip
David is a fantastic host and the trip to St. Andrew’s could not have been better. This was, by far, the best time that my family and myself have ever h on a tour.

Great tour and guide
Although all of the places we visited were within easy walking distance, we wouldn't have visited them if we hadn't been on the tour, so it was definitely worthwhile, and the guide was very good.
