Madrid is a city made to be tasted — and this tour moves through it the way locals wish every visitor would: on two wheels, with good company, and an appetite.
It starts at Chocolatería 1902, where warm churros arrive alongside thick drinking chocolate, a ritual the city has kept for over a century.
From there, your guide leads you by e-bike through the historic center: Puerta del Sol, where a stone marker declares itself the origin of every road in Spain; the 17th-century Plaza Mayor; the Gran Vía with its gold-domed Metropolis Building; and the Cibeles Fountain. The pace softens at Retiro Park, where paths lead to a soaring 1887 iron-and-glass pavilion.
The tour ends with a tasting of three grades of cured ham and four artisan cheeses paired with Spanish wine. Upgrade, and a maestro cortador carves acorn-fed Ibérico at your table, each translucent slice drawn with the precision Spaniards compare to playing a violin.
