A scenic ride along the Slovenian coast, including the historical cities of Koper, Izola, Piran and most renowned Slovenia tourist resort, Portoroz. The focus of the 4h to 5 hour-long coast roundtrip is on the charming Piran, with its medieval Venetian-style narrow streets and piazzas. Get a taste of the old Venetian atmosphere, traditional architecture, colourful old facades and great views from the top of the majestic Piran walls, overlooking the Adriatic and the Alps from one single angle.

From Ljubljana we head south with a stop on the way at either Postojna Cave or the Skocjan Caves, both among the most fascinating karst caves in the world. A great opportunity to learn about the local culture, cuisine and traditions is a stop at one of the local taverns offering typical Karst prosciutto (air-dried ham) and red wine Teran before proceeding to the Croatian Istria. Explore the towns of Groznjan and Motovun, two very well hidden gems of the Istrian region, bringing history and folk traditions of small narrow streets where locals still live as they used to back in the past. Arrival to Rovinj in late afternoon where our staff will provide for the closest drop-off location as possible to your accommodation.

Only a short drive from Ljubljana, there lies Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. Particularly known for its unbeatable charm around Christmas time, but amazing and definitely worth to visit in all periods of the year. In the afternoon we will experience a different character of life in the small town of Samobor - famous for its interesting and rich culinary tradition and well-preserved 19th century charm. Our walk through Samobor will take us along the river Gradna, the main town square and the Livadic Castle. Return back to Ljubljana in late afternoon.   Note: optional drop off in Zagreb

The Logarska Valley is one of the most beautiful Alpine glacial valleys in Europe. Beautiful corners of unspoilt nature in the Logar Valley Landscape Park. Including, among others, the source of the Savinja River, mighty boulders, small museums dedicated to logging and charcoal production, a hunting tower, a giant juniper tree and much more. From Ljubljana across the mountain pass Cernivec to the Savinjska Valley, break at the rock formation Igla, a needle shaped rock in the middle of the Savinja River tiny gorge. Then we head on to one of the most beautiful valleys in Europe, the Logarska Valley, pass the Rinka waterfall and have a typical Slovenian lunch.
