Fun Tour for the Whole Family
Very fun tour especially with kids! Alenke was our tour guide and she was lovely. Very friendly and shared lots of tidbits about both the behind the scenes of filming the movie as well as the real-life Von Trapp family. Great stops for pictures with the movie filming locations and just the right amount of time so the kids didn't get worn out. The singing was a fun bonus -- you're not required to sing, but I sure did. If bringing kids, definitely watch the movie with them beforehand so they get the most out of the experience. Would highly recommend!

Amazing evening.
This was an amazing experience. I booked the VIP gold package because it was a surprise birthday present for my husband, his birthday was the day we did this. The food was really good. The waiters were very attentive and even bought my husband a piece of chocolate cake with a firework in it as an extra, after dessert, for his birthday, they also sang happy birthday to him. The location was perfect. It was amazing to be sitting so close to the musicians, the concert was amazing. I would highly recommend doing this.

Just Superb!
The tour was a great experience. Our tour guide by the name of Alinka was very good. She provided our group with much historic detail. The walk past the large Cross past the Main building is uphill and involves slippery rocks. Challenging but if reasonably fit you can handle it. Unforgettable views from every vantage point.

Chef's Kiss
I thought this was one tour in one swoop but it was two and both were worth it. Our guide for both Hallstadt and Sound of Music were top notch and funny. The journey there was worth the price alone as you see the most beautiful parts of Austria. When you get to Hallstadt, the ferry says its RT but they pick you up at one part and drop you off at another (so you can shop) so don't time it so close that you miss the bus. Also, avoid the ATM by the fruit stand (ate my card) but the fruitstand people found me on Facebook after my card spit out and I got it back. Support them for sure - right across the street from bus drop off. Oh and ferry ride was lackluster, check out the town instead and buy some salt. Sound of Music Tour was so educational and the group was more fun as we experienced a sing a long on the way home that had you thinking, why don't I see along at home? It takes you to so many of the spots in the film though all quick stopovers. Truly recommend this beautiful country and this tour.
