Great tour!

Connor was a great tour guide for both parts of the tour (sound of music and Halstatt). Bus was clean and comfortable and had great views of the countryside. Just enough time in Halstatt without being too much time. Information provided on Sound of Music sites was good and quite interesting. Perfect Nostalgic Tour

Everything was very organized and the tour guide was enthusiastic! The tour guide ensured families stayed together and seating was sufficient. They also answered everyone’s questions and were a great help overall. I would note that you don’t spend too much time on the top of Eagle’s Nest so don’t plan on doing any major trails, but it felt like just enough time to see the main views.

Great Day in Hallstatt and the Alps

Had a great time on this tour learning about Austria, Salzburg, and the surrounding areas. Fritz was a great guide. Our tour was a mix of people going to Hallstatt for a half day and people splitting time between Hallstatt and the Five Fingers. I originally signed up for the half day in Hallstatt, but after hearing about the Five Fingers, Fritz let me join that group instead. Hallstatt was great, but going up to the top of the mountain and looking out over the surrounding peaks and valleys on a beautiful day was the right call. And 2 hours in Hallstatt instead of 4 hours was more than enough for me. Great trip and great guide. I highly recommend.

Loved everything about it

We splurged for the VIP dinner and concert and were not disappointed. The view from the fortress of both the city and the mountains was spectacular. We had a perfect table next to the window and was able to enjoy the mountain scenery. The concert was also wonderful. We sat in the second row and felt like we were a part of the ensemble. It was truly an awesome evening.

What a spectacular performance! The artists’ depth and quality was astounding! It was as though the instruments were talking to each other through a musical storytelling. I loved the passion that emanated through the ballroom with such fire in one moment and the next a delicate softness. The musicians filled my heart and soul with delight. Johannes, our guide, was really knowledgeable. He took the time to bring us around and shared the history of the area, as well as lives of the people living there now. He brought us to a beautiful viewpoint for a photo, as well as recommended a cosy local shop for some schnapps. It was a nice surprise, considering I was only expecting to be brought to the salt mine. My husband and I really enjoyed the trip and will definitely love to bring our children for the trip in the future!

Top evening in Salzburg

This was a lovely experience. Service on the boat and at the dinner was excellent. We enjoyed the boat doing a few Strauss twirls! Dinner was most excellent in the fortress and the concert was superb - such talent and a good mix of shorter classical pieces set in the most stunning room. We were so glad we got to do this - very memorable and totally worth doing!
