Excellent trip, but careful as Google maps takes you to a destination round the corner! The meeting point is by the river. We unfortunately missed the first part of the trip as we were waiting in the wrong place but the bus collected us on its way back round and we got to experience the last half. It was great and we really appreciate that the driver accommodated us. Loved the Sound of Music locations.

Interesting and fun concept of a tour. Unfortunately it wasn’t much of a tour…more of a ride up and down the river and in the city center. Driver was friendly and assistant was courteous.

Most of the tour is on land and if you book the 3.15pm tour you may like us get stuck in a lot of traffic, so sat doing nothing and finished half hour late!

Book early to avoid disappointment. We were the only British couple but they ensured translation into English. A good mix between water and land and brilliant way to sight see Salzburg. Brilliant trip.

Our tour was on a rainy day. The guide was great. They allowed us to stay warm in the lounge until boarding time. The river part of the tour was rather brief but the land part was longer. Sound of Music area was beautiful also the very from the boat of the churches and castle was nice.
We thought narration was a little boring compared to this same type of trip in the US. More like listening to a robot with no personality.

The tour was mostly driving through the streets. Some was informative. They dont mention that part of the tour is a walking tour to see a palace across a lake. Also that apprx 25% of the tour is waiting on the staff to put on/remove flotation devices etc. not much time spent on the water, again, more time driving thru the city streets. All in all, the staff was excellent and friendly. Just not much to the actual tour itself. One time is enough.
