Outstanding Musical Fun Experience!
What a blast! Our tour guide Jose was delightful! He absolutely relished the music of The Sound of Music! He shared his love of the movie and Salzburg with great joy! At the sight of Maria singing, "I Have Confidence," Jose enlisted several members of our tour, to join arms and sing and dance down the path singing! As our bus climbed the mountain, he loudly played, "The Hills are Alive!" It was so moving, it brought me to tears! Jose had the whole bus joining him in song several times singing, "Do Re Me" and "The Lonely Goatherder!" It was such fun! Jose clearly loves his job and totally immerses his flock in his passion for "The Sound of Music!" Don't miss this tour!!

See both of these tours for the perfect day in Austria!
You must see Hallstatt AND go on the Sing-along Sound of Music Tour! What fun we had! Hallstatt is amazingly beautiful and shouldn't be missed. We went during Easter Break, and it wasn't crowded at all. The beauty is rich and we will never forget our morning there! The Sound of Music Sing-along Bus Tour was SO MUCH fun! We had a great time, and our tour guide Jose was excellent! We learned so much about the back story of the film and seeing the sights in person was a dream come true! We can't recommend this tour highly enough!

New dessert recipe from Salzburg
This was one of the highlights of the trip we made to Europe. The cooking class was a great way to learn how Streudel is made and nockrel! Highly recommend this excursion if you're in Salzburg. The instructor and assistant were extremely helpful which made it a wonderful experience.

Hallstatt tour
This tour didn't disappoint. The weather was beautiful and the scenery was breathtaking. Our driver, Mitch was very knowledgeable and he gave us useful information regarding a route to follow through the town. The bakery by the bus station, Maislinger, is well worth a visit!!! Would recommend.

While Salzburg has plenty to offer visitors, it's also a great base for exploring the natural features and castles of the Austrian and Bavarian Alps. Organized Salzburg day trips make it easy to see spots inaccessible by public transportation. You can head out to the Salzkammergut lake district to see sites made famous by The Sound of Music, deepen your understanding of World War II history with a trip to the Kehlsteinhaus (Eagle's Nest), which was initially a Nazi meeting spot, or even check out Eisriesenwelt, the world’s largest ice cave.
