Good snorkelling

Great trip! Snorkelled in 4 different spots. Saw fish, turtles, 3 types of rays, sharks, starfish. The last spot was where we were fed beautiful ceviche and given drinks. We were standing in the water in a beautiful sandy spot, dining off a surfboard. Rays would come right up to you. Just be aware that NO SUNSCREEN was allowed to be applied on board regardless of if it was reef safe or not. Absolutely bring a rashie and a hat. Some parts of the boat were slightly shaded but you may burn your hands and feet in the sun.

A lot of turtles and a pretty cenote

It was beautiful! The water was a bit muggy in Akumal but it didn’t stop us from seeing all the turtles! Then the Balam Cenote was amazing. Cold but not too cold and we also got to explore the cavern in the water. Cesar was our tour guide and was wonderful!

Always ask for Toucan tours all the way at the back of the Port

After getting off the ship, you need to ask for Toucan tours and go all the way to the parking lot to be picked up. Quite inconvenience and worrisome if this is your first time in Costa Maya, but reassured that everyone there rely A LOT on tourism and want good reputation for the port so they will guide you if you ask. Decent amount of walking, everything else was highly recommended if you have never seen Chichen Itza. Good lesson of Mayan history. Well-organized, but no sign at the beginning and hard to find booth, but otherwise everything else was super.

You just found the Perfect place to spend your day in Cozumel!

Love love love this place!! Stop looking for the perfect day- you just found it. Probably our 10th visit here and it's better every single time. The place is immaculate and so tropical. So much attention given in every area. The staff is amazing- so hospitable and so attentive. We never have to ask someone to help us or take our order. The food is really good and the choices are fantastic. The beach area is clean and well managed. The bathrooms have their own attendant and are so well maintained. The check in process is easy and efficient and well organized. The taxi ride here is easy and between 17-20.00 for 4 people. Taxis are outside the facility all day long and it's never an issue to be picked up and taken back to your ship. The pool is beautiful and HUGE and they have floats for the guests. Service is top notch - plenty of wonderful chairs, umbrellas, and other amenities- such a beautiful day in paradise. Thank you Paradise Beach for the outstanding perfect day!

Many Adventures in One Day!

From the start, the communication and organisation was reassuring. We were picked up from our hotel in a minibus for a small group tour of the Tulum Mayan Ruins. Fabricio, our guide was very knowledgable and passionate telling his guests about Mexican history. We arrived before the queques which was a bonus! Afterwards, we traveled to Akumal Beach to snorkel with the Green Sea Turtles, which was amazing! Personal belongings were left in the minibus with our lovely driver Roberto. Everything was safe. Next, we journeyed to the Ocean Tours Cenote, following the underground river. We had a tacos lunch at the base camp where there was also changing room facilities, a gift shop and time to view the photos taken by the professional photographer Daniel, who was there for all the water activities as we could not take our phones with us. They are a great souvenir of a fun and interesting day out. Thank you, Fabricio!

Beautiful Adventure

Our guide, Juan Corona and driver, Andreas treated us to a great excursion. We were met outside the dock and Andreas drove us 3 and another couple to the beautiful Bacalar Lagoon where we got on a small boat and toured the lagoon. The water was the most beautiful colors and it was so clear. We saw 3 different ceynotes then stopped to cool off in the waist deep water. Juan & Andreas then served us the most delicious honey pineapple and mangoes sprinkled with tahine in the water as well as beer and taquila shots. We then drove to a great local restaurant and had fabulous tacos and fajitas. Juan was most accomodating and knowledgeable about the area.

Great Trip

We had a really great trip. Pick up from our hotel was on time. Organisation at the dock was well done considering there were many tours at the same time. We chose not to do the snorkeling last minute as the guide mentioned youd be dropped off and swim back to the boat about 400m which isnt alot and you have life jackets also but as a weak swimmer that put me off getting into the water. Food at the buffet was nice. The second stop was chaotic with the amount of tourists at the town, the most dense we've seen a tourist spot yet. We did a cute golf cart trip along the coast to a viewpoint which we enjoyed but would've loved an extra half hour or so to explore the town a little more and have a drink, there was only time for one or the other. The team on the boat were great, drinks flowing and music blaring.

We were only in Mexico...

We were only in Mexico for a few days, staying in Playa del Carmen, and this tour was a great way to experience the history and culture of the area in a limited amount of time. We especially enjoyed the Tulum archaeological site and the cenote. Our guide, Esteffany, was really wonderful and kind (and funny!) and the driver Orlando was great too. My partner and I didn't participate in the snorkeling activity, but we enjoyed just sitting by the lagoon and watching some of the fish while the group did that. I'd definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Playa del Carmen or Cancun.
