Julia, our tour guide was amazing. She was very personable and knowledgeable. I rate her service 5 stars. The restaurant was a huge disappointment: minimal vegan options (salad, fried everything else, no tofu/chickpeas), the available options were inedible, the bathroom was unsanitary and lacked soap, and the overall environment was crowded, noisy, and unclean.

A good way to see key sights
Saw lots of sights but felt a little rushed at times. Met lots of other tourists on the pleasant van ride, which was full.

Really great tour. Thais was our guide, and was good with giving info. Limited time in Rio, and this lets you see all the main sights without worrying about logistics. Lunch option was a buffet, but didnt include dessert or drinks. Would've been better if that was included too.

A must!
Newton was a great tour guide! Very sweet and knowledgeable. This tour checks off some of the main attractions in Rio de Janeiro... definitely worth booking!

  • The Selarón Steps are free and open to the public 24 hours a day.

  • Nearby bars and restaurants in Lapa and Santa Teresa are plentiful; combine a stop at the urban artwork with a meal or drink nearby.

  • Although the 250 steps are not wheelchair accessible, the view from the bottom of the stairway is excellent.
