Excellent one day tour from Quito to Cloud Forrest
We were picked up at our hotel in Quito. We stopped at the Middle of the World monument on our way to Mindo. We had lunch in Mindo at a great restaurant and then saw the humming birds in the Cloud Forest. We also learned how to make chocolate and visited a coffee farm. Isra and Linda were awesome tour guides!

Scenes from Ecuador
Jorge made our trip through Ecuador absolutely unforgettable. From the very beginning, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing his beautiful country with us. He took us to incredible places, shared fascinating local history and culture, and made sure we experienced the best food, scenery, and hidden gems Ecuador has to offer.
He was always professional, punctual, and flexible, making us feel comfortable and well looked after throughout the entire journey. His recommendations were excellent, and he went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing experience.
If you’re looking for an authentic, stress-free, and memorable tour of Ecuador, I can’t recommend Jorge highly enough. Thank you for an incredible adventure—we’ll be talking about this trip for years to come!

We had a private bus pick...
We had a private bus pick us up at our hotel. Our guide, Pam, was welcoming and fun and taught my family so much. The driver Ivan was very capable and affable and navigated the traffic of Quito and the rough roads of Cotopaxi well. We had a fantastic day on the mountain. The weather was windy and wonderful. Had hot choc at the refuge. Would recommend to anyone that can take the altitude.

The Cloud Forest
Our visit to the Mindo Cloud Forest was one of the highlights of our trip to Ecuador. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, with lush green forests, beautiful waterfalls, and an incredible variety of birds and wildlife. It felt like stepping into another world.
Everything was well organized, and there were so many amazing experiences—from walking through the cloud forest to enjoying the peaceful surroundings and spotting colorful hummingbirds. The natural beauty and biodiversity are truly unforgettable.
If you’re visiting Ecuador, the Mindo Cloud Forest is a must-see destination. It’s the perfect place to relax, connect with nature, and experience one of the country’s most spectacular landscapes. We can’t recommend it highly enough!

Amazing Quilotoa
Fabulous but very long day. Everything went according to plan. Be aware of the very strong winds at Quilotoa. Have a scarf or a mask. I was not prepared for the amount of fine sand all over the trails apparently put in place for the donkeys. This made the decent more difficult. Walking sticks are recommended. My guide was fabulous, and the entire tour truly worth my efforts. I highly recommend.

Amazing day in Quito!
This was an incredible experience exploring Quito! David made the tour feel like a private, personalized experience — it was just me and my spouse, and he was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout the day.
He picked us up right at our hotel and took us to every single stop, sharing lots of interesting facts and stories about Quito along the way. He was so friendly and made sure we felt comfortable the whole day.
The best part was when we asked if we could visit the La Mariscal Artisan Market even though it wasn’t part of the plan. David didn’t hesitate, he just took us there and even gave us tips on how to explore the city on our own afterward.
Highly recommend this tour if you want a personal touch and a guide who genuinely cares about making your day memorable.

To climb or not to climb, that was the question.
What an adventure. From pick up to drop off, our guide Adrian exceeded expectations with his attention, knowledge, and flexibility. He was attentive and shared cultural and nature facts allowing us to connect with our experience.
Suited up in waterproof ponchos and cowhide chaps, we saddled up and took in the beauty of Cotopaxi and surround areas on horseback.
We had planned to hike to Cotopaxi’s base camp but the combination of the 60 mph winds and our less than ideal attire, we opted to trek around Limpiopungo Lagoon where we took in spectacular views of Cotopaxi.
Overall, it was an amazing experience.
*if you are considering the hike to the Cotapaxi base camp, know that hiking boots/shoes, long waterproof hiking pants with under layers, layers of shirts under a waterproof jacket, buffs for neck that covers ears and face, warm hat that is secure (mine somehow was pulled off from under my rain jacket and flew over the cliffs edge), and sunglasses. Expect to get wet and struggle against the wind and altitude.

It was a lovely day full...
It was a lovely day full of activities, we had a great time. Our guide Irenita was very fun, engaging, attentive and supportive to all of us throughout the day. She entertained us with friendly conversation to make a journey feel shorter and more manageable. Driver Ivan was very kind and attentive to the group too, very friendly and positive.
Highly recommend this tour if you prefer active day - swing, zip line, waterfalls and perhaps even a bangee jump! Have fun

Fun tour for our family aged 12-76.
Great experience! Daniel was a wonderful tour guide. The equator explanation and experiments were fun for our three generation family. I would highly recommend it. The cable car ride was good but you MUST walk all the way to the swing in the sky. It was totally worth it.

Very efficiently run tour
The organization of this tour was very good. We were given the meeting point clearly, and the minibus was on time. We visited the equator for breakfast (with an interesting demonstration), a lake for views (though too cloudy to be perfect), a waterfall (not spectacular, but worth the 15 minutes walk both ways), next to see some traditional instruments (though only one person played for us), then the famous market. There was a recommended restaurant for lunch which some of the group took advantage of, but it still left 90 minutes for the market - longer for those who did their own thing. We got back at 5.30 - it is a long day out with a lot of driving, but not as much as 12 hours. Jorge our guide was interesting and enthusiastic and kept us all involved in English and Spanish.
