Good trip to Cotopaxi...
Good trip to Cotopaxi park...pickup at 7am, picked up others, and off we went...first stop about 40 minutes in for breakfast at a gas station/mini-mart/restaurant...most people opted for a quick snack from the mini-mart while others went for a full breakfast from the restaurant...this results in some people just waiting around for others...not a big deal but wish everyone was on the same page...then on to the park...short stop at the visitor center where the guide provided interesting info on the volcano/mountain and the surrounding plants and animals...then on to the hike, a fairly challenging 1 mile steep hike up to base camp...the guide reassured everyone to take it easy, go at their own pace, and take your time...I'm 65, huffed and puffed a little, took a few little breaks, and made it just fine...after descending, made a 10 minute stop at a nearby lagoon for some pictures, then on to lunch...several options were given, I chose the grilled chicken which came with soup, rice, beans, and salad for $6...I enjoyed my lunch and the company of meeting people from different places...then back to Quito, arriving around 5pm...the guide and driver (Hernando and Mauricio??) were both great and I would recommend this tour.

Great day out!
Our guide Diana was so friendly, helpful and informative. The trip was worth it for the information alone. Great conversations. The Bizcochos was delicious and interesting to know the history/how they make it and similar with the Agave and at 0 0 0 my husband managed to balance an egg!! The waterfall is beautiful and watching the lady playing the instruments was very relaxing. And of course, the market was full of hoods to buy. We tried haggling (I usually hate it but they seem to love it!) and it really works - start at half the price and then work up to the middle difference. We got some bargains. For lunch Diana found a restaurant that served fish as I don’t eat meat. All in all a great day out.

Mindo Cloud Forest
We had a terrific day full of activity. We went to the Chocolate Factory in Mindo, the Mindo Cloud Forest and the humming bird sanctuary. Ivan let us stop for lunch at a fantastic place called Serenity for lunch. We preordered for faster service for the 10 of us. 6 adults and 4 kids. Eddie’s driving was outstanding all day! Thank you! Ivan’s English was outstanding. The kids loved it ages 6,7,9,10.

A Must Do for a great combo of nature, coffee, and chocolate
We laughed, we saw lots of hummingbirds and toucans, loved the chocolate making class and the coffee was yum. Bring binoculars if you have them. While he had a pair we could share, birding as well as being out in nature at all is better with your own set. It was a bit muddy especially by the river so suggest bringing water shoes. Our guide was friendly and it was just the 3 of us so we went at our own pace. He was very knowledgeable regarding things other than nature (politics, history, landmarks). We grabbed some fresh made pastry type bites from a street vendor that were awesome. Just well done and enjoyed every stage of it - hummingbirds on your hand - LOVE! I wore a bright shirt to attract them and it worked!

Fabulous experience in Quito!
The private guided tour is well worth the money! My guide, Ismail, was absolutely delightful and was full of knowledge about Quito, Ecuador, and the natural environment. I had an absolutely wonderful day and would 100% recommend this tour, and especially Ismail!

10/10 Highly Recommend, Support this Small Business and Have the Best Day Ever!
This Cotopaxi tour was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Ecuador. From the moment we left Quito, the drive through the “Avenue of the Volcanoes” was stunning, and entering Cotopaxi National Park via a less-traveled route made the whole experience feel much more authentic.
The horseback ride across the Andean páramo was unforgettable, and Kevin, our horseback guide, was fantastic. He made us feel comfortable with the horses and went above and beyond by capturing incredible photos and videos of us galloping across the plains with Cotopaxi towering in the background.
The hike up to the Cotopaxi refuge was challenging because of the altitude, but Jorge—the owner and our guide for the day—was amazing. He was incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, and most importantly let us go at our own pace, which made the climb enjoyable rather than stressful.
Overall, this tour strikes the perfect balance of adventure and scenery—horseback riding, hiking, and some of the most spectacular landscapes in Ecuador. Highly recommend if you want a memorable and non-touristy way to experience Cotopaxi while supporting a great small local business!

We had a great day filled...
We had a great day filled with activities! The Quito Old Town walking tour was beautiful, and our guide Diana was so knowledgeable about the history of the area and the people. The tour up the cable car was well worth it - we could see the vastness of the city and then got to watch the clouds and rain roll in. The visit to the equator was really interesting and our guide Brandon made the visit exciting and fun!
We’re so glad we signed up for this full day tour- if you can request Diana to be your guide, you’ll absolutely enjoy the day!
She was a fantastic guide!

Nice day trip from Quito
The ride from Quito is quite long, but the views are beautiful and there is plenty of tropical nature. The waterfall was very powerful and definitely worth visiting. There are lots of activities for adventure seekers, like ziplining, etc. Overall, it’s a very enjoyable day trip!

Great trip to see Quitos highlights in a day
I had guide Josue who was excellent.
I booked onto normal group tour but was only one so had solo tour. Picked up at hotel at 09:00 and dropped back around 15:15. I had message in the viator app which hadn’t notified me there was a message that time had changed from 08:30 to 09:00 so go into app to check.
Josue swapped the order of the activities to make the best of the weather which was nice.
I would have liked to pay a little extra for the tour for them to cover the admission. I don’t like rummaged for small change and I can imagine this a bit time consuming for bigger groups. I may be worth the company doing this as a price option. Keep original and have a admission included option. Admission were quite cheep. $2&6 for churches, $9 for cable car and $5 for equator (plus tip for equator tour and of course our guide).
I got a little altitude sickness on top of the cable car mountain so if you have multiple days in Quito it would be better to leave to your last day.

Amazing despite the rain!!
I had a fantastic experience during this tour. I was picked up on time from my hotel, the guide Josue was phenomenal. It was a rainy, cloudy and miserable day but the guide nevertheless made it a fun day for us. The hike down to the lake was fun and the view at the bottom was well worth it. He made sure that we all were safe on the hike down to the lake and back. I highly recommend this tour.

Great experience airport to hotel
Very professional service and very flexible as some of the group didn’t have bags arrive on the flight so we had to get that sorted out and the driver patiently waited for over an hour ! Safe drive from airport to hotel in comfortable Mercedes 10
Seat van .
