What are people saying about Queenstown

Ask the team to email you some kiwi photos as you can’t take any yourself! Great experience!
We were delighted to see so many birds and reptiles. And the highlight is the kiwis. You cannot take personal photos but we did ask via their page to send some and they did! A few things I was concerned about was that the Kārearea was in a small area and these birds fly high and long distances. Maybe it’s injured , I don’t know. Be interesting to know. The preschool next door is so loud, so don’t expect a peaceful Stroll! I felt for the birds too! In saying this, I think the group are doing a great job.

Ash was our guide. He is...
Ash was our guide. He is a knowledgeable guide. We went to Glenorchy and stopped for a short walk along the way to enjoy the view and to take some photos. We had a picnic lunch in Paradise, we were provided with some cheese toast, fruit and even ginger desert. It was a pleasant and sunny day.

Amazing experience
Easily one of the best activities we did in Queenstown. The scenery was stunning, and our guide Max was so friendly and knowledgeable about LOTR, Tolkien, and Glenorchy/NZ in general. Getting to dress up as the LOTR characters in Fantastic Forest was a delight, and Max was generous enough to let my daughter wear Aragorn’s cloak for the rest of the tour since she liked it so much. Would recommend this tour as a must-do for anyone visiting Queenstown!

Amazing experience
We had the most incredible evening at Walter Peak High Country Farm and Cruise from Queenstown 🌄🚤 From the moment we stepped onto the vintage steamship TSS Earnslaw, the experience felt special. The cruise across Lake Wakatipu was absolutely stunning — calm water, mountain views, and that peaceful golden-hour glow you just don’t forget. But what truly made the night unforgettable was the effort the team put into celebrating my daughter’s birthday. They surprised her on the boat, which completely made her day — she was smiling the entire time. Then at dinner, they went above and beyond again, making her feel so special. Dinner at Walter Peak High Country Farm was exceptional. The food was fresh, high-quality, and there was so much variety — something for everyone. The setting was warm and welcoming, and the staff were genuinely friendly and attentive the whole night. Between the breathtaking cruise, the amazing food, and the thoughtful birthday surprises, this was more than just dinner — it was a memory our family will always hold onto. Highly recommend this experience if you’re in Queenstown. It’s absolutely worth it.

Queenstown is known as New Zealand's adventure capital for a reason: The range of outdoor activities in Queenstown for travelers is as epic as its mountainous landscape. Thrill-seekers can participate in sports at the more extreme end of the spectrum—such as leaping into a gorge with just a bungee cord attached to your legs—while outdoor enthusiasts who prefer more gentle activities are catered to, too. Cruise the lake, take to the air on a scenic flight, take a hike, among other options.
