This trip was excellent! We couldn’t have asked for better weather, and even though the flight was smooth, our pilot (Annabelle) warned us every time there could potentially be bumps. She was very professional and informative on the flight, and friendly! Milford Sound is stunningly beautiful and worth the journey!

The best way to experience the Milford Sound by air and sea

This is by far the best way to experience the Milford Sound by air and sea. We had a very scenic return flight from Queenstown to Milford Sound onboard ZK-PPR. Annabel, the most lovely pilot in the southern hemisphere made this an epic experience. If you are lucky enough, you may even get the co-pilot seat. Absolutely breathtaking. Cruising the Milford Sound on board of a Southern Discovery‘s vessel just adds the icing on the cake. Thanks again to the team of Glenorchy Air for a perfect day in paradise.

The Cessna flight to Milford Sound was amazing! Annabelle was a stellar pilot and guide, providing information and historical significance about our scenic view! The boat tour was also fantastic and should not be missed! Our skipper was informative and described brilliantly when and where to look for stunning sights- from seals, to fault lines and rainbows and more!

From pick up to drop off, this was the most amazing experience. On my bucket list to fly over Milford Sound, this experience didn’t disappoint. The pilot was extremely professional and friendly and of course the views were to die for.
