Top Queenstown White Water Rafting

We had a wonderful experience with our guide Rob, who provided plenty of information regarding the areas we're traveling through, stopping at scenic overlooks and providing enough time to enjoy the view and take photos. It was nice to be in a small group of 15 and on a van-bus as it made it easier to make those stops as well as a more personal experience in being able to ask questions of the region. Being on a boat with a smaller number of people also made this day trip a pleasant experience.

We had a wonderful day with our tour guide and driver, Sinchan! He was very friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgable (and took great photos of us!). Despite being a 12 hour tour with 8-10 hours of driving, it didn’t feel that long because of all the interesting commentary he provided for us on the surrounding history, geology, conservation, and anything else we were interested in, along with well-timed stops along the way to the fjord. The tour size was intimate and we enjoyed getting to know the other guests. The whole tour was timed very smoothly and we really appreciated being able to just hop onto the boat for our cruise right after arriving at the terminal. The scenery was jaw-droppingly gorgeous and we were able to appreciate it more from the passenger seats than if we’d driven ourselves. We definitely felt we got our money’s worth and would love to do another tour with Altitude if we ever return to NZ!

I'm 73 and had never taken a zipline adventure before. I went with 5 friends, and we all had a blast! Saucer, Stephen and Emelie were wonderful, not only calming us all down, but showing us a wonderful, fun filled adventure. They showed us they all had a great sense of humor, while teaching us all about the area we were in on each platform. (I'm a Grade 1 teach and was impressed with their teaching skills!) One of my friends had injured her knee earlier in the day. All 3 of them made sure she was super safe, while still having fun! There was also a family of 4 with 2 young fearless girls who they catered to. We all had a delightful, very exhilarating time & a great way to end our day. I highly recommend this adventure to everyone.
