The day was perfect!!! We had been on a cruise and this tour was booked on our own. Marie was amazing!! High energy, easy to understand, entertaining. What a wonderful day!!! Would highly recommend this tour with Marie. John, the owner was extremely caring and wanted our opinion after the tour.

This was a fabulous walking tour round old Montreal with our guide, Sylvain. He was engaging and easy to listen to. We didn’t stop for too long anywhere and heard some really interesting stories about Montreal. We saw the port, the financial district, the old town, the underground walkways etc. Would recommend.

Considering it was a large tour,it was well organized. Danny ( our guide), was knowledgeable and patient. I was not aware of seat assignments on the bus and was not given one when entering the bus. This created confusion ( because I sat in someone else's seat. My recommendation is to provide a seat assignment when reserving the tour.

Today our group of 5 did a 4 hour with Stephane. Starting at the Basilica of St. Anne’s, we proceeded to Orleans Island for a fantastic day in Quebec. Ice cream, chocolate, maple syrup, the sweetest strawberries, and fantastic local IPA mixed with regional history made our day one to remember. The highlight of our cruise vacation so far, and another great Viator excursion. Highly recommend this private tour.

Highly recommend! The guide was incredible- knowledgeable and fun! You can buy drinks on board and I liked that it was a small group/smaller boat. We went at 7p for sunset which was lovely. We learned a lot and it was a great way to see other aspects of the city. 10/10!

Very easy to consume tour, with nice food stops at each point. It definitely shows the different flavors that make up the city, guide was not trying to be stuffy or gatekeeping, much appreciated ! Guide was also really patient with the entire group, some had issues keeping up and he was accommodating for all of us.

This Mile End food tour was one of the best experiences of our Montreal trip, and a huge part of that was our guide, Simon. Simon was fantastic—outgoing, funny, engaging, and genuinely interested in making the tour feel like more than simply walking from one restaurant to the next. He encouraged questions, kept everyone involved, and created a really relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere throughout. What impressed us most was how much detail he provided at every stop. He didn’t just explain the food; he went into the history of the restaurants, the owners, how the dishes were made, and what made each place unique. It was obvious he had strong relationships with many of the restaurants as well, which made the experience feel more personal and gave the tour a bit of an insider feel. Every stop was enjoyable, the food was consistently delicious, and finishing with ice cream on a very hot Montreal day was a perfect touch. Excellent value, excellent guide, and an easy 10/10. We would absolutely recommend this tour—and Simon in particular—to anyone visiting Montreal.

Amazing experience! Ile de Orleans is beautiful and it was amazing to meet local vendors. Would not recommend getting the 100ML liquor bottles from the vinegar stop. They were seized at the airport and the manager stated they have never let bottles of that size on planes.
