Great day outside of Athens
We had a great tour from Athens with Julia as our guide. The timing between all the stops was perfect for us, allowing us to see a good amount of sights. The other two guides that we had when we were in Epidaurus and Mycenae, Jenny and Patti, were terrific as well.

Great tour
This was a great trip. Alex was a great guide and our bus driver was excellent to. It was a nice, new bus that was comfortable. It was nice to take a break in Nafplio and eat and not have to walk as the Mycenae and Epidarius stops have lots of walking...uphill! But worth it! After walking all over Athens the day before, it was nice to ride for the day and have moments of walking. They even stopped at Corinth canal which I was super happy about.

Covered a lot of ground and many centuries!
Such a great day tour of ancient and modern Greece! Epidaurus and Mycenae are amazing! Corinth is interesting and Nafplion is quaint and has lots of dining and shopping options available.
Our guide Katerina was very knowledgeable, efficient, and funny! Although just a day tour, we covered a lot of ground and many centuries!

Best way to see three sites in one day
This is the best way to see Mycenae, Nafplio, and Epidavros in one day. Includes stop at Corinth Canal. Excellent tour guide!

An day to remember in the Peleponnese
If you are fortunate to have Panos as your driver and guide to the Peleponnese, your experience will be delightful. We were able to see the sites at our own pace, and to rest in between in his comfortable car. We left Athens at 7:30 am, were back by 6:30 pm, and had seen all the major sites with time for a leisurely lunch in Napflio. All in all, a very memorable day.

A nice day trip out of Athens.
A great time exploring places outside of Athens. You see a completely different side of Greece on this trip. It was nice to have someone else drive and not worry about the traffic or finding our way. Nathan was a great tour guide and knew a lot about the area. Nafplio was a very nice spot to stop for lunch.

A good day out from Athens
We enjoyed the trip and were charmed to see the beauty of the Peleponese. We had only 4 minutes (240 seconds!) to visit the museum at Mycenae, only enough to wish we had longer. The pottery shop visit was lost time which we would have preferred to spend at Mycenae itself.

Photos taking
As there are lots of history in Greece, tour guide is very responsive to tell us the story and at the end time to take photos is less. It will be better to give us more time to take photos.

Mycenae was fascinating!
It’s a long day, but well worth it. We thought Mycenae was so interesting!! We spent extra time there, so had a little less time in Nafplio. Mike was a wonderful driver and shared a lot of interesting facts and stories along the drive and shared insight into Greek culture.

When to visit

- Covering around 80 acres (32 hectares) and home to a population of roughly 30,000 at the height of its power, the spectacular Mycenae ruins are a must for archaeology and history buffs.
- There’s a lot of ground to cover outdoors, so dress for the weather and choose comfortable shoes.
- If traveling with kids, visit with a family-friendly guide who knows how to make the site engaging for everyone. The model of the ancient city located just outside the museum is helpful for younger travelers to get their bearings.
- Some areas of the site are accessible to wheelchairs, while the museum is fully accessible.
