What are people saying about Ancient Olympia

Ancient Olympia was...
Ancient Olympia was amazing. And, the museum was beyond belief (HIGHLY RECOMMEND). The tour guide mostly read information about what we should expect to see from his phone. He was talkative on the drive from Athens to Ancient Olympia but barely said two words on the way back.
Had the tour guide not had his phone to read from, I highly doubt he would have had much to any knowledge of the site we were headed to see.

Fantastic! Our guides...
Fantastic! Our guides were fantastic. The guide at the ancient Olympia ruins was an amazing person with an endless wealth of information. It's amazing to see 2000 year old ruins and the artifacts collected in the museum itself. Would highly recommend this tour.

Olympia
Our guides were great
The museum was exceptional
The olive oil tasting wasnt much
Lots of walking and standing
Do not do this when it is 100 degrees like we did!

Fantastic tour!
Christos was amazing. He had so much history to share and knew where to go to make the most of our time. He was kind, open to anything we wanted to see or change, and filled with suggestions that made for a fantastic day for us and our adult children.
Besides the Olympic ruins, our favorite thing was Klio’s honey farm. Klio taught us about her family business and so much about bee keeping/honey making.
This tour added a great local feel to Olympia. We highly recommend Christos to all!

Amazing
Olympia was amazing. You get to see the remains of one of the 7 ancient wonders. The VR was nice but at times got a little confusing. Cool place to see

Nancy is the best tour guide
Nancy is the best tour guide. She took us to places that the tour busses don’t go to. If you wish to immerse yourself into the local culture, people, food, wine and lifestyle, this day tour will tick all of your boxes. Nancy was super fun and the real deal. Thank you Nancy for a great day in your wonderful country.

We expected the tour to...
We expected the tour to be slightly different but in the end we saw everything that we wanted to. We started late because we had to wait for people. I think it could have been a little shorter. Unfortunately since we started late it went through lunch and there was no time to eat.

Museum was very nice,...
Museum was very nice, quick and comfortable. Amazing walk through history. Guides tour isn't really needed, AC was good and cafe was stocked with a variety of items. The archeological site was truly amazing.

Good experience overall
Overall was a good day. The VR isn’t great but the staff assisted and showed us step by step how to log into our phones and get the QR code to access the site. Only concern was due to extreme sunlight the glare made it difficult viewing

Ancient Olympia, wine tasting and beach
It was wonderful to get a local person’s knowledge of area! Nancy was outstanding! She tailored the experience to our interests. We were able to go to a less touristy winery which we LOVED! Nancy also offered to show us an olive oil factory/tasting (super cool!) Ancient Olympia grounds are worth the visit!
