Dora was a great guide and driver. We were able to alter the itinerary, even extended our time some and got to stop st The Olive Temple. Lunch was great, opted against the planned buffet

You are basically just paying for a taxi ride, over 500 dollars. Our driver was very nice and informative, however everything was extra, from the Olympia sites to the lunch. I would not recommend this tour.

We were with Dora of Travel Dora. She was AMAZING!!! We were on a 12 day Mediterranean cruise and had 9 stops. We booked Dora in Olympia. She was the BEST tour guide we had the entire trip. Incredibly knowledgable, spoke excellent English and flexed to what we wanted to do vs. sticking to a script. I would highly recommending "going local" for the lunch vs. the buffet option. She took us to one of the "local" frequented places in the off season months and we loved it. The ruins required some imagination to picture vs. others in Antiquity, but she more than made up for it!

Athanasia was such a terrific tour guide. She has a passion for sharing her knowledge and culture. We learned a lot not only about Olympia but also about olives and some Greek culture. She was always smiling and happy to answer any questions. She doesn’t go into the site of illuminating ruins with you but tries her best to explain everything you will see on your own. The lunch was amazing and unforgettable. It tasted like I was in a Greek grandmothers kitchen. It was worth every penny and I highly recommend. We would definitely repeat the entire tour.

Our family of ten (10) ages ranging from 72- 2 were greeted by Evi at the ship and taken to the archeological site and museum of Olympia. Our family was able to experience this awesome, ancient site independently. From there Evi took us to the Touris Club where we enjoyed a traditional Greek Buffet ( which was really good). A stop recommended by Evi to pick up baklava and other greek sweet treats made for the perfect end of a great tour.

We enjoyed our visit through ancient Olympia where the Olympic Games first began. The ruins are amazing and it was fun to set up on the starting block in the stadium. What I did not like is the US$500 we paid for basically a cab ride from our cruise ship to Olympia and back. Driver was not friendly or that talkative. He was a taxi driver… not a tour guide. We had two previous amazing tours on Viator in both Santorini and Athens. Both of those drivers Nicholas and Andreas were fantastic and extremely knowledgeable.
Third Viator booking was a real disappointment regarding the transportation.

Great Tour ! Dora was amazing - communicated consistently and directly ! Evy was so kind and accommodating! Would do again ! The optional lunch was amazing - large buffet - and authentic dancers! Highly recommend!

The guide was friendly but unfortunately she did not accompany us in the Olympia site. We were left on our own and did not know where to go or what we were looking at. She took us to a nice greek restaurant overlooking the sea, where we ate local food.

There is a law in Greece that only a licensed tour guide can be with a group in an archaeological site and museum., escort guides are not allowed to do that. You requested a licensed tour guide but you decided not to have one as there was an extra cost to that service. I’m so sorry to hear that you were disappointed .

This was a wonderful experience. The ruins were interesting. could have used a guide but was fine. The Traditional lunch was fantastic. Lunch was delicious and they had greek dancing. The restaurant was beautiful. The tour company was excellent. It was a great day.

VERY DISAPPOINTING. Our reservation said 7 AM, but when we got off the ship we couldn't find anyone. Spoke to another tour agent who pointed out Dora. She said our tour wasn't to begin until 9 AM, but our paperwork said 7 AM. She managed to find another driver who would take us on the tour. After we got in the car, he told us he was not a regular tour driver and could only take us to our destination but was not able to do anything else. It was no fault of his, but basically we paid $495 for a taxi ride
A little exorbitant, don't you think? We were so upset at the situation, but what could we do? I think this was the last Viator any of us will do.

I’m sorry to hear that but the disembarkation time was 9:00am in the booking form I had. I have proof for that which I can provide. The 7:00am was the disembarkation time for the ship, it doesn’t mean that all passengers get off the ship at the same time. Some people want to have breakfast and start their tour later. So it wasn’t basically my fault.

Our tour guide, Dora, was wonderful & met us promptly to begin our tour. She was friendly, very accommodating & patient with one of us who needed a little assistance. And, the traditional lunch that was included was terrific fun. I would highly recommend her & this tour.
