Excellent Day in Olympia with Stathis

Heather_P, Aug 2025
Stathis was the best tour guide we could have asked for. His attention to detail on our tour was unparalleled and he truly made us feel like family. He was a very safe driver, his vehicle was clean, and he provided so much information about Olympia and the surrounding areas. We were able to explore local gems and had a traditional Greek lunch with recommendations by Stathis. It was truly an incredible day and one we won’t forget. Thank you Stathis!

Dora our tour guide was...

Dora our tour guide was absolutely wonderful! She was very knowledgeable about the area. She was also extremely friendly and allowed us to make some adjustments to our schedule. We wanted to spend more time in Olympia and walk around the town, so decided to skip the beach. The olive press was very interesting, my kids even enjoyed learning about the process and loved sampling the oils. I would definitely recommend this tour, especially to those with limited time as you will learn and see a lot!

Fantastic outing

Our guide, Charis, was absolutely great. He agreed to start early to assist us in avoiding the cruise bus crowds at the Olympic site. Very nice van as well. The site itself was quite moving, allowing one to imagine the first Olympic games. The museum was very well done and interesting. Later, we visited a family owned olive oil company and learned a-lot as well as sourcing some great products after a fun tasting. The best part was stopping by Charis’ house to get some of his home grown oranges. They were undoubtedly the best we have ever eaten. All gone within 30 minutes of our return. A great outing and I highly recommend this excursion.

Awesome experience

Andreas also known as Andrew was awesome! From being prompt at our pick up with a sign to the history information he offered, perfect would the be the word I would use. We were not rushed at all and I definitely recommend the olive press tour at Magna, it will not disappoint!

Great experience

The guide is excellent and very kind. The visit to the ancient Olympia is amazing. I recommend to get an audio guide since the excursion does not include it. Visiting the oil press was great and olive oil tasting delicious. The beach is small but water is clear and delightful. 100% recommended to make the most of the place.

Excellent!

Charis was an excellent guide! Saw beautiful sites and then had lunch at a seaside outdoor restaurant. Highly recommend.

Nicko was incredible. Full of life and information. A true pleasure to tour with. He knew the best spots and was very accommodating. The last part... we were boarding ship that was set to leave in an hour when I figured out my 7 year old had placed my phone in the side pocket of the car's door. I frantically waved down a taxi to see if they knew our driver (all of Nickos contact info was in said lost phone). Apparently, everyone knows and loves Nicko and they called him and he made the journey right back for drop off. That could have been bad. Thanks to Nicko's quick action and loved character, I tracked down and got phone back. Highly recommend for tours and even slight emergencies.

Great Day In Olympia

Jose_R, May 2022
I travel to Olympia, Greece with my wife and two friends. John was our driver. He did a really good job taking us around the island. Though he was not a tour guy, he was able to provide us with enough information for us to enjoy our visit to the Olympic museum as well as a winery. He monitored the level of activity at different tourist areas and was able to help us make the most of our day. He took us to an excellent winery Turrisi, where they produce both wine and olive oil. There we had a great tour and were able to sample some of the wines and olive oil. I strongly recommend to anyone taking this type of a tour to realize the difference between having a driver and a license tour guide. In this instance we were able to plan our day with John and had a great day.
