What are people saying about Oregon

Amazing time was had!
I loved traveling with Jim as our tour guide. He’s so much fun, he’s very knowledgeable and he was so sweet with helping my husband who is disabled get off the van, he listened to our wants and made it all happen during our trip! He’s such a joy and I truly recommend him! Also, I loved that he got to pick us up from our hotel when it wasn’t a part of the list of hotels! He was so accommodating and my husband and I truly loved our tour.

I’m Now a Huge Fan of the Columbia River Gorge
I was not familiar with the Columbia River Gorge until I booked this experience. Our guide Jim was simply the best and made this one of my all-time favorite experiences. He was knowledgeable, considerate, and highly entertaining. The waterfalls and overall scenery were stunning. His in-depth knowledge of the region contributed immensely to the experience but he went beyond the experience itself, making excellent recommendations on restaurants and areas of the city to visit. I sincerely give this experience my highest recommendation.

A great time so happy to have gone in the evening
This is my second time at Hopscotch and my partners first, I loved it we both had a great time! I recommend going in the evening on a weekday as it was almost empty. The first time I went was full of children and it’s a very different experience. Would love to go back.

Incredible experience!
This experience was absolutely amazing! we had hour flight right at sun set and the view and the scenery was incredible. Our pilot was amazing and was fantastic at pointing things out and answering any of the questions we had. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend this to anyone. we will absolutely be going back and checking out the longer and more scenic flights they offer!

Exceptional Lunch Cruise
Fantastic food, service, music, and views. I was very surprised as to the quality of the food. This was a first class dining experience with some wonderful wines to accompany the food. Service was timely and very upbeat and friendly. Kelsey and Lacey were top notch.

Would recommend!
Went on this tour with my husband and in laws during our trip to Portland. It was great to experience to the surrounding nature areas without having to rent a car and have a knowledgeable tour guide. Huge shout out to Dominick! It was the highlight of our trip!

Afternoon waterfall excursion
Great way to see the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. I only had 1 free afternoon and this was perfect. Super convenient pick up and drop-off front of my hotel. Branden was super knowledgeable with great info on the geologic history as well as the flora in the region.

Portland Like a Local: Art, Chocolate, and Stories You Can’t Miss!
I went on this tour solo, and Damon was an amazing guide — super knowledgeable and friendly, which made it feel easy and fun even on my own. I learned so much about Portland’s layout, history, and the up-and-coming “new Pearl District.”
The tour had such a great mix: the local history, amazing graffiti and street art, artisanal chocolate tasting, and wandering through cool residential Portlandia-style neighborhoods. What really stood out were all the local stories and insider tips Damon shared — it gave me a real sense of the city’s vibe and what’s happening locally.
Highly recommend this tour if you’re traveling solo or with friends — you’ll get a fantastic, authentic Portland experience.

Can’t go wrong with David.
David did an excellent job mixing amazing Portland facts and great food. Stops were well paced with fun facts between. The breakfast sandwich was a great way to start the tour. Even though we had just a half sandwich it was filling. I love the food cart pods and probably could have eaten our way around just one pod. Tokyo Sando also served a great sandwich and Stretch the Noodle’s dish was excellent but very spicy. Nongs chicken dinner was fabulous but by this time wasn’t sure I could eat anything else. Only thing I would change would be put the chocolate tasting closer to the end and have the shave ice be a smaller portion since we are just tasting the coffee shave ice was the BEST! Thanks David for a wonderful first day in Portland Oregon

Beautiful to see Oregon from the skies!
My mom and I booked last minute while on vacation in Portland and we're glad we did! It was so fun! The ride is about 50 minutes in a 5-seater plane, taking you up close to Mt. Hood and along the Columbia River. The pilot was really experienced and the take-off, flight, and landing was really smooth.
The views were incredible, for the first point in the trip you are able to see Mt St. Helen, Mt. Adams, and Mt. Hood all in the same vista! You also get the aerial view of several waterfalls along the the Historic Columbia River Highway. We did the driving tour and saw the waterfalls up close that day, so it was awesome to see it from another perspective.

Mount hood and water Falls
Enjoyed all the stops - learnt a lot about each location - history - a lot about Portland and Pacific north west. Our guide Dominique was magnificent and very knowledgeable- friendly - and gave us ample time to enjoy the sights
The air conditioned van was comfortable and she also gave us plenty of water to stay hydrated. Really appreciated her doing that since it was very hot. She is an amazing tour guide and we were lucky to have her on this tour, I highly recommend the tour to others

Got a different view of our Portland "backyard"!
Nate gave us a great tour down to Willamette Falls and back. Sat at the falls for a bit. We saw eagles, osprey, heron, historic homes, learned about the river and the geology including a volcano site I never noticed before. our out-of-town family got a different view of our "backyard" and so did we! highly recommend!

Most of Oregon is a giant outdoor playground, from the Pacific Ocean beaches (100 percent of which are public) to the mountains of the Cascade Range and the high desert in the eastern part of the state. There are Oregon tours that highlight all of these wonders—and more. Even from a base in metropolitan Portland, full-day excursions let you explore the Columbia River Gorge, visit the coast, or hike up the state’s tallest mountain. Between outdoor activities, you can also go wine or beer tasting and sample some of Oregon’s best eats.
