Our tour guide Edgar is...
Our tour guide Edgar is very experienced and thoughtful and patiently guided us at the local market. We had a great time trying all the local delicacies such as the tacos and quesadillas. I highly recommend you to take part in this small group of foodie tour.

So much fun!
This was an amazing marathon tour. We covered so much in one day and we traveled in a very comfortable tour van with a fun international group of fellow tourists. Our guide Estefania was great at breaking the ice and creating a relaxed mood for the long day and was very patient with our questions and in explaining things. We found the Tule tree and Hierve el Agua particularly special experiences and would just recommend cleared instructions for the hike without a lox tour at Hierve el Agua. It is recommended to bring a towel and bathing suit for this experience as well as a comfortable walking shoes and snacks. We did have opportunities to buy street food along the way but the lunch stop was at 4pm, so we were grateful to have things to munch on in the car.
The Mezcal tour and tasting was extremely informative and a great final bonding experience with the whole group. Also a great opportunity to buy gifts.
Overall, amazing and absolutely worthwhile.

Amazing guided tour
Highly recommend this tour! Our tour guide Miguel was so knowledgeable and gave us so much context and history. The site was beautiful and really interesting. Half day was plenty and it was nice to get there before it was too hot and be back for lunch.

What a fun day! Yes it...
What a fun day! Yes it was long but we felt that every stop was worth it. We were worried the textile stop would just be a bid to get us to buy something but it was actually fascinating. Pavel was a friendly, knowledgeable guide. We especially enjoyed his tour of Mitla.

Went on the tour with...
Went on the tour with Pavel as our guide. He was very informative and detailed before arriving at each site and throughout the visit at Monte Alban, describing essentially every building and the story behind them. The alebrije and black pottery workshop visits were good quick stops to learn about their creations, and there was no pressure to buy anything.

The best tour we did in all of Mexico, special thanks to our guide!
Would give this 7 stars if I could! We absolutely loved this experience, wow! I thought 6-7 hours might be too much time but I could have gone another 7 hours! We loved the pre-Hispanic history provided by our guide throughout our walking tour of Oaxaca. We felt like we saw the majority of old Oaxaca on our tour and saw so many things we would have otherwise missed. This includes the food! I am not usually one to try different foods but this was so much fun and so, so tasty. Ours favorite were the black mole tamales which would have been impossible to find if not for this tour - we didn’t see them anywhere else in Oaxaca on our trip, and the variety of Oaxacan fruits, including a chewable stick which was SO cool, and spicy!!! We loved the mezcals, the fruits, the pre-Hispanic atols and conversation with our guide. We were lucky enough to be the only group on the day we booked and if a private tour isn’t already available, I’d recommend this operator to create a private tour, because it felt so much more personable and intimidate with only the 3 of us. Highly recommend if you love food and history! We wouldn’t have tried 95% of the foods we tried on this tour had it not been for the tour. We also wouldn’t have seen 70% of the sites and markets if we didn’t book this tour. I’ll be recommending this tour to everyone. I loved meeting the owners of every restaurant/market we stopped at, too.

Amazing tour
Experience was amazing. Our guide Leyda especially made the day, she was incredible! Loved walking through the agave fields, and then seeing the whole process of how the Mezcal is made from start to finish. Tasting was great and the lunch they took us to was truly delicious- would absolutely do this again!

Hierve el Agua, half-day trip
The Hierve el Agua location was very sunny the day of my trip. If other people have similar conditions on the day of their trip, then a wide brimmed hat is probably a good idea and also plenty of water for the hike. If you're prone to sunburn, take sunscreen or wear a long sleeve shirt.

A must-do tour for first time visitors to Oaxaca!
This is a jam-packed but very well organised tour which includes several must-do activites in Oaxaca. We elected to go straight to the pools at Hierve del Agua rather than doing the hike and I would highly recommend this because it was so quiet when we got there that we almost had the pools to ourselves! The mezcal tasting was incredible (I think we were given 11 different types of Mezcal to try) and we especially loved our guided tour of Mitla and the info the guide shared about the Tule tree/town of Tule. We didn’t catch the name of our guide unfortunately but he was incredible and did a great job managing an at times rather difficult tour group. We were a little sad in the morning to have missed out on some of his guided commentary on the bus ride to the waterfalls (he stopped after someone interrupted him asking to get off the bus). We understood why he didn’t continue as most of the group were visibly disengaged, but we had been enjoying hearing about the local indigenous history of the area!

Amazing cooking class!
Brilliant cooking class, Adhey is an amazing chef and all her family are so lovely and welcoming. We cooked so many different dishes and they all tasted amazing. Adhey and Enrique made the day super special and it was a really great experience, this is a must do if you’re in Oaxaca!

10/10 would recommend
Leyda was an excellent guide who was very knowledgeable and passionate about Mezcal and what it means to Oaxaca. My wife and I left with a deeper appreciation for the amount of effort it takes to produce them and how skilled mezcaleros are. The food, mezcales, tour, and general views were incredible. Would strongly recommend this experience - or following Leyda when she opens her own tour and experiences!

Amazing trip seeing lots of wildlife
We were very lucky and saw Manta-rays, Turtles, Spotted Dolphins, White-bellied Dolphins, Blue Whales, and Killer Whale. Our pilot was fantastic, and would definitely recommend using the company (just know that the animals are seasonal and wild, so you’ll not always see the same animals on each trip)

Many travelers agree that if you only have time to visit one place in Mexico, it should be Oaxaca. The state has some of the country’s most iconic food—from its seven types of mole to flaky tlayudas (stuffed tortillas)—plus inspiring natural beauty and colorful architecture. Oaxaca tours let you explore like an expert, whether tasting street food in Oaxaca City or discovering the Monte Albán ruins. You can also learn to make mezcal on a plantation, marvel at a petrified waterfall, or head to the coast for surfing lessons.
