Magical Morocco

We absolutely loved our 9 night trip around Morocco. My husband, our 22 year old daughter and I were amazed at the diversity of the landscapes and enjoyed learning about Morocco’s culture and history. We chose the 3/4 star hotel option and were pleasantly surprised at the hotels and riads we stayed in. They were all very clean, had great breakfasts and were in excellent locations so we could explore on our own in the evenings. They were also near lots of great restaurants for dinners out. The Toyota Prado we traveled in was very comfortable and had plenty of room for us and our luggage. Our driver Said, was an excellent driver and we always felt very safe, whether it was driving on icy roads in the Atlas Mountains or in the crazy traffic in Marakesh. He was always punctual and a very pleasant travel companion. By the way he loves football! The itinerary was really well paced with excellent tour guides meeting us to show us the highlights in Rabat, Fes, and Marrakech. Although we drove large distances there were always interesting things to see and scenic spots to get out along the way.

Took in Rabat and its Beauty

This was group trip with three four other people included in the tour. The pickup was timely and it is a bout a little over an hour to reach Rabat, so you can take a nap there and back if you need a little rest. The tour was a combination of walking and passing by locations and presented a great opportunity to see the city and enjoy its beauty. I will note that the Chellah visit is not that accessible for those who have any challenges walking. We ended the day at a restaurant facing the ocean for some Morocco cuisine that was delish.

Great tour, best way to experience Rabat
