We had a great day touring various artisan workshops. Felix made sure we were comfortable and had planned a great itinerary where we got to see different artisans who were all experts in their crafts. Felix was great at translating everything for us, and we enjoyed spending the day with him. We also got to see the Tule tree and visit a small mezcal distillery. We would highly recommend this tour!

We had two wonderful full-day tours to places outside the city with Oaxaca Conmigo. Our guide Chuy was extremely knowledgeable on the history and archeology of the ancient sites we visited and also took us to local villages where met the people creating artisan craft work. He took good of us and was fun to be with. Highly recommended!

Felix, our guide, was awesome! So knowledgeable and amenable. The tour itself was magical at each step of the way. It’s a great way to get out of the city and see all the things Oaxaca has to offer.

This tour was excellent. Great guide, new comfortable car and a flexible itinerary that you can customize with the guide as you go. We also felt the stops, even the ones that involved shopping, were well curated and not tourist traps. I highly recommend it

We toured with Jesus. He has full knowledge to give this tour, and is very accommodating. We had not settled on the sights to experience. He narrowed our interests with information to fulfill our interests. We learned so much of the area surrounding Oaxaca. By all means take this tour.

This is a wonderful tour with passionate and knowledgeable guides!
Our guide today was absolutely fantastic. He was prompt, drove a very clean and comfortable car and was so helpful with my 83 year old parents. His patience was great. It was obvious he is passionate about his culture and history and shares it so well. He really personalized the tour to meet our needs. Thank you for sharing your love of Oaxaca with us!

We had a wonderful experience with Oaxaca Conmigo Tours. Our guide, Tony, was accommodating and flexible, making sure we maximized our time, and did just the things we were excited to do. Conversation was genuine and informative during our drive. We made a stop for an authentic breakfast at Comedor Citali on the way to Hierve El Agua. Per Tony's suggestion we arrived at early to beat the crowds and the heat. Tony procured a wonderful local guide while at Hierve el Agua. The tour far exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful hike, took in multiple views, all while receiving fascinating history of the site. The stop was made complete with coco frios!
From there we headed to Mitla. Tony proved an excellent guide of the site. He opened the experience by paying respect to the ancient site and its inhabitants in the traditional Zapotec language. He explained the rich history of the site, pointed out subtle details, and translated many of Mitla's beautiful figures and symbols.
At the end of our visit to Mitla, Tony encouraged our feedback and gauged our interest in our next adventure. We decided that a magical visit to Conina Nishh to enjoy lunch and to see Dona Dalia making preparations for the upcoming Dia De Muertos festivities would be a wonderful way to wrap up the day. We were welcomed by Dona Dalia and her family for a meal that was a genuine treat.
On the way back to the hotel, Tony gave us additional recommendations for stops while in Oaxaca. All of which were fantastic. We could not have started our trip to Oaxaca any better and are very grateful to Tony and Oaxaca Conmigo Tours for a perfectly planned, personalized experience.

Jesus was our driver. He is a character as well as extremely knowledgeable about the area, it's inhabitants and it's history. We had a special request so we could have lunch in Mitla with some dear friends. He was not reluctant at all to accommodate us, and made us feel very relaxed and comfortable. It was an educational and extremely enjoyable day!

We loved it!
Tony, our guide, was super nice and very knowledgeable. He shared so much with us about the place and its culture. We were able to customize the tour and saw many interesting and beautiful spots. Personally, we loved Hierve el Agua and Teotitlán del Valle but everything was amazing.
Highly recommend taking this tour and experiencing everything Oaxaca has to offer!

We had an unforgettable day on our private tour in Oaxaca, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we were picked up on time at our hotel, we knew we were in good hands. Our guide, Jesús, was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the history and culture of the region.
Our first stop was Monte Albán, where Jesús gave us a fascinating and in-depth tour. He was able to answer all of our questions and it was obvious he truly cares about sharing the story of this incredible site.
From there, we went to Santo Tomás Jalieza and were welcomed into the home of traditional weavers. They took the time to explain their process and traditions, and it felt like such a privilege to be invited into their world.
Next, we explored the Friday market at Ocotlán de Morelos and have to privilege of having lunch at Cocina de Frida.
We ended the day with a mezcal tour, where the distiller generously spent over 90 minutes walking us through the entire mezcal-making process. She was warm, knowledgeable, and clearly devoted to her craft.
At every stop, we felt welcomed and never rushed. Jesús was not only an excellent guide, but a genuinely interesting and kind person. His English is excellent, and he was great to talk to throughout the day.
This was the kind of experience that stays with you. There is no way we could have recreated this day on our own. I’ll remember it for the rest of my life, and I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to have experienced Oaxaca on such a meaningful level.

We had a fantastic time on this tour and very highly recommend it to others. Communication with the company was outstanding at every step. They offer many many options such that you get to select and personalize your day trip in Oaxaca. They have some pre-selected trips that you can choose from or you can build your own based on your interests, which is what we did. In our day, we visited Monte Alban, Tule Tree, a mezcal distillery, and Hierve el agua. Our driver and guide was awesome, he was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. We learned about the sites we visited as well as a lot about the culture of Mexico. I wouldn't hesitate to book this tour again the next time I'm in Oaxaca.

Highly recommend booking your oaxaca tour with Oaxaca Conmigo Private Tours. Tony was our driver and guide for the day and he was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgable. The company let's you fully customize your itinerary for the day so you get to choose to visit the places you want and for the length of time you want. Much better than being stuck on a large group tour. The company was very communicative and easy to book/work with. Request Tony if you can! One of our group even forgot something in his car and he drove back that evening to drop it off for us.

We had a truly wonderful experience. Our guide, Chuy, was incredible. He was waiting in front of our hotel for us first thing in the morning. His car was beautiful and comfortable. We went to every single site we had discussed prior and received a vast amount of information about each location. We did two full day tours - Hierve el Agua and Monte Alban. Both were excellent. The cars were clean and comfortable, the drivers friendly, fun and informative. We enjoyed every place we visited. Make sure to have a nieve at Mitla.

Had an amazing experience while visiting Oaxaca for a coworkers wedding. A special city with wonderful people. Visited San Martin Tilcajete and got to enjoy the art of woodcarving. Visited one of only two petrified waterfalls in the world at Hierve el Auga. Could not miss exploring Santa Maria del Tule. Antonio shared the history and knowledge while driving me to all these wonderful places. He was friendly and knowledgeable and just a pure joy to spend the day. We even got to “be in a parade” while driving me to my hotel for Dia de las mortes for the children.

Felix was great! He was informative and made sure we left each stop satisfied. He connected us with great tour guides who gave the tour in both English and Spanish which was great since my husbands Spanish is a little limited. He payed attention to the weather throughout the day and adjusted our Mitla stop to earlier in the day since it was so hot already in the early afternoon. He also helped adjust our Tule tree stop to make sure we made it to the stop since it really came down pouring. He was attentive to both me and my husband opening doors, providing waters and making sure the ac was to our liking. Thank you Felix and Oaxaca Conmigo!
