Located on the banks of the Dniester River, Tipova Monastery stands out as a remarkable rock-hewn monastic complex, arguably the most impressive in Moldova and one of the largest in Europe. With multiple levels spread over a generous area, this monastery once housed over 700 monks in its hermitages, and today, there are hundreds of monk cells in the surrounding area. The origin of the monastic community dates back long before the establishment of the Moldovan feudal state. It is said that some cells were carved into the rocks along the banks of the Dniester as early as the 10th-12th centuries, serving as protection against barbarian invasions. The landscape in this area is simply stunning: the tranquil waters of the Dniester, steep cliffs concealing hundreds of cells and caves, the beauty of nature, and waterfalls. After exploring Tipova reservation we will continue our tour in a very picturesque village - Lalova, where wwe will take a lunch in a nice guesthouse - Hanul lui Hanganu.

We have the opportunity to visit the "Martha and Mary" Monastery, located near the village of Hagimus. It is a center of pilgrimage and reflection, where the monastery's churches house holy relics and remains, providing a space of spiritual peace and tranquility. In 2003, with the replanting of 250 hectares of vineyards and equipping the winery with the most advanced equipment, the modern era in the history of Château Purcari began, which was founded in 1827. Purcari wines started to be exported to over 25 countries around the world, becoming the calling card of the Republic of Moldova abroad. The tour to the "Purcari Winery" includes a visit to the grape processing section, the wine storage section, and the bottling section. Additionally, we visit the historical part – the cellars where the wine matures in barrels, the maturation of wine in bottles, the Purcari wine collection, and a tour of the tourist complex. At the end we'll organize a traditional lunch in Carahasani village.

The trip will take us to one of the most picturesque regions of the Codrii reservation, 40 km from Chișinău, where one of the oldest monasteries in Moldova is located – Căpriana (founded in 1429). Next, we will visit the place where the secrets of beekeepers are revealed – the Honey Mansion in Micleuseni village. A small kingdom of bees and a place that entices lovers of sweets. The hosts will offer a tour about honey production and a tasting of 3 types of natural honey. Next will do an excursion and wine tasting at Crama Mircești Winery. Located on one of the highest hills in Moldova, this vineyard is literally above all the others in our country.
