Outstanding Experience – Incredible Value and Exceptional Guide!
This was hands-down one of the best value Viator excursions we have ever done anywhere in the world. I would 100% recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
Our guide, Hicham, was fantastic from start to finish. He reached out with excellent communication regarding our pickup. Because we stayed at the Iberostar Palmeraie, which is located outside of Marrakech, our excursion lasted over 7 hours (from 3:00 PM to 10:30 PM). Even with the extra distance, the pickup and drop-off were perfectly on time and completely hassle-free. The journey out took a bit of time as we picked up other guests from their hotels, but Hicham kindly provided us with water to keep us comfortable along the way.
Before reaching the desert, we made a stop at a local women’s cooperative shop. It was a lovely experience with absolutely no pressure to buy anything.
Once we arrived at the desert camp, Hicham continued to take excellent care of our group. The activities were incredibly well-organized:
Quad Bikes:
An absolute blast! We spent about 50 minutes riding around the desert tracks. My partner and I shared a quad, and they let us stop halfway for photos. They even gave us the option to swap drivers halfway through if someone just wanted a short turn to try it out. Great fun all around.
Camel Ride:
A beautiful, peaceful 20-minute ride around a track. It was the perfect, tranquil contrast to the high-energy quad biking.
Dinner & Show:
Hicham personally showed us to our seats for the evening. Water was provided on the tables, and there is a small shop on-site if you want to purchase soft drinks. The food was delicious and very much needed after the activities—we were served traditional Moroccan soup, chicken tagine, potatoes, vegetables, and couscous. The entertainment started with traditional Moroccan music, followed by some more upbeat songs that got everyone up and dancing. The night ended beautifully with an excellent and entertaining fire show!!
We were dropped off safely right outside our hotel at the end of the evening. From the thrilling activities to the great food and Hicham’s attentive care, the entire experience was flawless.
Don't hesitate to book this!

An Unforgettable Atlas Mountains Day with Ishmael and Local Families
An Unforgettable Day in the Atlas Mountains—Ask for Ishmael!
This was easily one of the most memorable experiences of our entire trip to Morocco.
The Atlas Mountains were absolutely breathtaking, but what made the day exceptional was the opportunity to experience the mountains through the people who call them home.
We began with breakfast at a women’s argan oil cooperative, where we enjoyed fresh bread, honey, argan oil, amlou—what they called “Berber Nutella”—and mint tea. From there, we traveled through the valleys and traditional villages before taking a guided hike with local Amazigh men who live in the mountains with their families.
This was my first true mountain hike, and our guides were patient, flexible and incredibly helpful. We were welcomed onto family property, learned about daily life in the mountains and witnessed a way of living rooted in family, community, resourcefulness and tradition. One family even invited us to return and stay in their home. That kind of hospitality is something I will never forget.
The home-cooked lunch was also delicious and plentiful, including soup, salad, tagine, couscous and fresh fruit.
And then there was Ishmael.
Ishmael may be the human version of ChatGPT! His depth of knowledge was unbelievable. He shared everything from Moroccan history and culture to fascinating facts about people, places and world events. My travel companion eventually started fact-checking him because he knew so much - and he kept being right!
What made him truly special, however, was that all of that knowledge came with warmth, humor and a wonderful personality. He kept us informed, entertained and engaged throughout the entire day. I told him he needs to teach a class or join a trivia circuit because I have rarely met anyone with such an extraordinary command of information.
This tour offered far more than beautiful views. It gave us a meaningful connection to the families, culture and communities of the Atlas Mountains.
If you are visiting Marrakesh, take this tour - and if possible, ask for Ishmael. He helped turn an incredible excursion into an unforgettable experience.

Shopping in the Souks with a guide as exactly as stated...
As stated in the description of this tour, we covered most places it stated and the guide also asked what we wanted to see...it was a good blend of shops and experience to help you understand the souks and how to get around without feeling pressured to buy anything. Guide was helpful and spoke good english.

Great people, great experience!
This was a great experience from start to finish - our driver spotted us looking for him and got us right away! A nice drive with a very knowledgeable driver who gave us lots of interesting facts of the area!
Then we got to meet the camel guide who was very helpful, took GREAT photos of us with our phone, and we got to ride Carmel and Michael who were experienced camels that gave us smooth rides.
The last piece was a great snack and tea where we got to meet more local residents. In all, just what we wanted!

Three days in a van
Yazim our driver was wonderful, well versed and knowledgeable pick up and drop off were smooth and easy
The three day adventure included 3 lunch stops. Food was good at each but double what we normally pay which is disappointing
First nights accommodation was a holiday hotel. After trying a room with a broken bed, then a second with a broken AC we settled into a third room and went out to find dinner, having no faith in the hotels free 8:30 pm dinner. Their free breakfast continued to disappoint
The Sahara experience by contrast was a total delight. The camels, the sandbording, the accommodations all perfection. Dinner was late evening 9:00 pm. But that’s a function of sunset activities
Todgha Gorge is spectacular would have been fun to swim but time was limited. We did enjoy the walk.
Sit Zinbet is a very interesting location. Photogenic and historical. Unfortunately the local guide chose to give a long talk about movies in the middle of a dry river bed at 42 degrees in the sun which set the rest of the tour up for failure
Tinghir was a nice walk through some farm land followed by a rug sales pitch. Fortunately I was able to escape the rug sale and found a wonderful bakery where I spent a very pleasant half hour chatting with guides.
Overall the three days were well worth the price. The group was fun to hang out with and the Sahara exceeded all expectations

Worth it!
Was very happy we arranged this tour; it's a really long drive, a testament more to the relative dearth of Unesco heritage sites to experience in Marrakech directly. But the guide we had was amazing (if quite young, at ~19 or so) and the driver was on-time and incredibly friendly.

Magical Marrakech
Our guide was Mo, who was a native of Marrakech. He was very knowledgeable and knew a lot about the different areas of the Souks. We didn’t specifically have a plan of what we wanted to see so we left it in his hands. He showed us some of the most beautiful parts of the city including the old university which from the outside was stunning and when we go back we will most certainly visit inside. He took us to a carpet shop and we bought a rug, we didn’t set out to buy one and nor did we need one but looks absolutely fabulous in our kitchen. Mo was very easy to talk to and any questions we had were answered. We had dinner reservations and at the end of the tour he walked us to our restaurant. The tour is tailored to what you want to see or would like to buy so it might be best to do a little research before your tour.

Unforgettable!
Mustafa was the perfect host and guide, we had an unforgettable experience, the highlight being the visit to Mustafa’s family home where we met his Mother and were served a beautiful meal. Mustafa was so full of knowledge and interesting information and spoke passionately about his culture. If you want an authentic experience o would highly recommend this trip.

The Night Market walking tour with street food
Our guide Yousif was excellent he guided us through the non tourist souks and we eat at various stalls in the Night Street Market, which we would not have done without his help. A varied selection of fare, starting with olive tasting, followed by soup, fish, prawns, various Moroccan salads and finishing with a freshly squeezed juice of our choosing. It was a lot of food.

Desert magic unlocked
Totally worth it! We had such a peaceful, relaxing evening in the desert with a delicious dinner, great music, and a fun fire show. Our guide, Youppy, made the whole trip seamless — he was attentive, engaging, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the drive. For the price, this was an amazing experience and definitely the most unforgettable part of our Morocco trip.

You should do it
This is actually like the best excursion. I did out here like we did a lot high flying going through dunes. If you’re a thrill seeker. This is your place to be. They even got some good shots on my phone for me for my pictures like they picked me up on time. Fun experience definitely booking again
