Agafay desert quads, dinner and show
We were collected from our accommodation in a mini van by our friendly guide Mo, we picked up others which didn't take long efficiently done, first stop was the quad biking which was a lot of fun, our guide made sure everyone was getting on with the quad bikes and being safe. We went on after this to an Argan oil cooperative had some tea and bread with dips, the process explained and of course the opportunity to buy related stuff which was a pretty good price and no pressure if not. We went on to ride some camels after this which was what you might expect ( not my fav part I must admit!), then on to the desert camp for dinner and entertainment which was all great, good food, a lovely setting and the entertainment was fun and seemingly enjoyed by the crowd, finished off with the fire dancing, eating and then some sort of pretty exciting spinning like massive sparklers! I would definitely recommend this trip our guide Mo was just the right blend of fun and organised everything went really well and we had some nice relaxing music on the drive back to our accommodation.

Excellent souk guide!
Excellent tour through the famous souks of Marrakech! Our guide, Ishmael, was very knowledgeable and brought us to off-the-beaten-path spots away from most tourists so we could see more artisans at work. He even offered to help make deals for us as we bartered for goods. Highly recommend!

Just wonderful
Just come back from the tour with Mohammed Laaouini (aka No 1). The most wonderful day with the most kind hearted funny and knowledgable guide Mohammed. Couldn’t recommend more. The stops, the breakfast, the Berber ladies who provided lunch - couldn’t be better. If you do go please take colouring pencils and pens and note pads and sweets of course to give to the children on route. They do not expect but the squeals of delight you will remember! Thank you Mohammed - you have made the holiday so memorable and best of luck with everything you do. Lucy (4167!). X

book it
It was a fun time with multiple
experiences: camel ride, quad ride, and plenty of a good dinner. The music was a cultural experience with the musicians including the audience in the fun. The fire entertainer was impressive and there were some fireworks at the end. The guide was a great communicator, he let us know what to expect. He also looked out for us, as we were the two oldest (by far) women on the tour. He even recorded the fireworks for us because we were too short to see.
FYI they will not be picking up at your hotel as stated. You will meet at a hotel on the main road.

My family of 5 had an...
My family of 5 had an amazing experience at agafay mainly due to our guide Abdeljalil. I have done many tours all over the world and he is one of the best tour guides I have ever had! He really took care of my entire family including my 2 kids and my elderly dad. He accomodated every request I had including stopping at an atm, specific dropoff, unplanned quad rides for my kids etc...He served us dinner, led our camel ride, took pictures for us, helped my dad walk on rough terrain, tied scarves on my kids heads for the quad ride, etc..He went above and beyond! The tour itself was fun and dinner was great! The fire show was also spectacular! Overall this was my kids' favorite part of our trip and an amazing way to end a wonderful journey through Morocco.

Great day in the mountains
We were lucky enough to go on a beautiful sunny day. Our guide, Abdul, was excellent giving us so much information about Morocco. The views were lovely and we had a wonderful Berber village meal. Best meal we had in Morocco. It was very cold so our jackets were appreciated. Highly recommended.

Zedan and the team are fantastic!!!
The experience itself was fabulous! Zedan and everyone at the base were brilliant! We had the most fun out on the quads with photo stops and Zedan took lots of photos!!
The transport to the experience which is provided was not the most pleasant. The driver told us a time the night before then arrived early expecting us to be ready and harrasing us by continually phoning. On return, we were dumped in front of the hotel on the main road.

Quad biking in Palmerie
Great experience. Comfortable pickup from hotel. Great amount of time actually driving the quads and balanced well with photo opportunities. Stop off for refreshments with Bennett family and very well catered for. Great value trip and one I would definitely recommend, especially with teenage boys! Would do again if ever in Marrakech again. Brilliant value for money

Atafay desert experience with food a fire show
It is a wonderful way to spend an evening. The guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The food and the show were first class and she organised everything for us including organising restaurant tables and the camel ride. We just had to follow her guidance for a truly stress free and exciting experience. Would recommend this trip to anyone

Fun times on mama camels
The driver Abdl, Jonas the tour guide were very professional and kind. We had a good time hearing about the local perspectives about the country. The tour is in the desert and you’re invited to someone’s home for food. Our host was also very welcoming and very generous with the serving. We were given Berber attire for the tour, which was worn over our clothes. We road two camels and there was a young baby camel that joined the trip as well. This was our first time doing something like this so, definitely a great memory for the books.

Amazing day!
Ait Ben Haddou made a strong impression right from the start. The fortified city is over a thousand years old, and the clay and mud architecture has held up remarkably well over time. Wandering through the clay alleys with our Berber guide, Bakhta (spellcheck needed), gave the whole site a sense of real life and history, and the climb to the top paid off with grand desert views.
During the tour we learned how many movies had been filmed there over the years, from Lawrence of Arabia to Gladiator. Even The Odyssey was shooting there this past February, a fun surprise for a film fan.
We also stopped by a local Berber co-op where the women make and sell handwoven rugs. It was a low-pressure visit, more about seeing the craft up close than a hard sell, and it added a nice personal touch to the day. One thing worth mentioning: there are plenty of stairs and uneven paths, and parts of the walk may be tough for anyone with mobility issues.
We came from Marrakech, about a three hour drive through the mountains. It is a long ride, but the views keep it interesting. It doesn’t hurt to have a few podcasts downloaded for the road if that’s your style.
In short, I would recommend, movie dork or not!
