* This is more of a relaxing cruise with limited sightseeing. If you’re more interested in seeing landmarks, I’d definitely recommend the bus tour—it’s only five euros, but note that you need to have cash. * Depending on when you go, being out on the open water can get quite cold and windy, so dress accordingly. * The speedboat truly lives up to its name—it goes extremely fast and plays very loud music. Be prepared to get splashed and possibly experience temporary ringing in your ears. If you’re not into intense, rough rides, you may want to skip it. * The pineapple drink wasn’t worth it in my opinion, even though it seems to be a major selling point of the tour. * The organization of the buses could definitely be improved. * Some of the basic staff can come across as short and dismissive, lacking a customer service mindset. * There’s no guidance once you get off the bus during the bus tour, and the time is very limited. It’s best to plan ahead and prioritize what you want to see. * A big plus: they are extremely punctual. They run on a very tight schedule and will leave without you if you’re late. For example, they can only remain stationary in port for about five minutes, so boarding and exiting must be done quickly. * A note for the tour organizers: the toilets need more frequent cleaning, as they become very dirty over time. The bus tour organization could also be improved, and staff should be more attentive and consistent. At times, they dismiss questions, change instructions abruptly, and give conflicting directions, which affects the overall customer experience.

We had a fantastic afternoon of kayaking with Viv and Ang. Both guides were welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, skillful and very attentive to all of our group. It was a great way to experience the Blue Lagoon as we were able to access quieter sections, away from the tour boats. I have recommended this tour to others and will happily do so again. We had a fabulous afternoon with Captain Joe. We upgraded beforehand to a 3 hour trip from 13:30/16:30. So worth it. Lots of time to explore Crystal lagoon, Blue lagoon, Gozo and many cool caves… and just chill on some lovely coves. The boat was a 25 foot powerboat. There was an awning for shade and lots of comfortable areas to sit. You need to bring any food and drinks, although water is available. No bathroom on the boat but that was not an issue. He provided me with a pool noodle to use in the water which was nice as it was still chilly for a swim. You do need to bring cash for the boat captain for gas which was in addition to the price charged by Viator. We were reminded beforehand which allowed us to be prepared. Bring towels. Initially check in location was not clear but the company responded to my call and waved me over. The trip started on time. The captain was lovely and very informative. This was the highlight of our trip to Malta and if we come back to Malta I would book it again!
