Great kayak tour down a river. Fantastic guide, Stefan, was very knowledgeable about all the wildlife we saw including turtles, iguanas, monkeys, various birds and sloths. Oh my! Definitely recommend.

We went on a kayak tour with Alex, our tour guide, and it was an incredible experience! We were able to see so many animals along the way. Alex took his time to explain everything in detail, and his passion and respect for nature really shine through. Overall, it was a fantastic adventure, and we would happily do it again anytime.

I absolutely enjoyed it. The fact that it ended up that I was the only one that booked that time and that day and they still went thru with it. I had Alex as my guide. He was very chill and It almost felt like having a tour with a friend. He even tried to look for areas where sloths would be in close proximity just because I mentioned my obsession with sloths. We did see some but up high in the trees. He took me on a hike up in the forest and gave me some history. It rained while we kayaked too which made the experience fun. He gave me a cold coconut drink at the end too. 10/10 👌👌

The tour with Alex was excellent! I am so happy that I chose to do this with a guide. He was very knowledgeable and shares a lot of facts and information about local history, the types of plants and the animals ( how to spot male or female). Kayaking felt like a unique and special way to see the wildlife here! The tour is at a very relaxed pace and Alex tries to find as many animals for you as possible - ones you would never spot alone! I was very lucky we saw an otter, many sloths, an iguana, a few green basilisk lizards, green macaws, howler monkeys, kingfishers.

Was raining when we went but Alex still did a wonderful job pointing out different animals and plants that we would not notice ourselves! Saw sloths (one with a baby), howler monkeys, lizards, turtles, spiders, and more! Great tour and fun kayaking through the river

The tour is as described - from the meeting point we walked along the beach, down a road and through a trail then kayak down the river. This is something you can absolutely do without a guide ($10 an hour to rent kayaks) but the guide was there to answer questions and give us background and information about the area as he pointed things out.

Our Tour Guide Alex was wonderful at spotting and pointing out wildlife. He spoke English well and provided us with a bit of history about the area as well as showing us a beautiful bit of Costa Rica. We saw 10 different species of bird, animals, insects, frogs and he recommended a restaurant a short walk away that was wonderful with authentic Costa Rican food.

Really perfect! We took a short walk in the jungle to beautiful viewpoints. This guide was really great, it has really interesting knowledge about the history of the city, animals, plants, trees, insects. He also spotted at least 6 or 7 sloths just on the beach and its surroundings. The canoe tour also went great. It was very nice I highly recommend!

Alex était très sympathique. Nous avons fait la ballade un dimanche avec 2 enfants en bas âge. Le choix a été fait de ne faire que le kayak et pas la marche. C’était parfait pour nous car mieux pour les enfants.
Balade en kayak tranquille dans les mangroves puis la forêt tropicale puis la jungle en remontant la rivière. Nous avons pu voir des paresseux, iguanes, lézard, de nombreuses tortues, oiseaux, papillons singe hurleur,….
Très adapté et très agréable d’avoir un guide juste pour notre famille.
La balade s’est terminé par une noix de coco bien fraîche et bien sucrée! Les meilleures jamais goûtées!

Eine großartige Tour! Unser Guide Ale war sehr entspannt und hat uns sehr viele Tiere gezeigt und sein umfangreiches Wissen über Natur und Geschichte mit uns geteilt.
