Water was low but high on fun!

Had so much fun tubing the Rio Celeste with my 10 and 16 year old daughters. The water was low but it was still a lot of fun. A perfect mix of rapids and calm pools. My 10 year old loved the rope swing and our guide got the howler monkeys going for us at a stop. Definitely something you’ll want to do while staying in the area! There wasn’t any walking/hiking involved; my 10 yo is asthmatic and she’s had some issues on other excursions while here.

Great half day tour option from La Fortuna

This tour turned out to be part of a larger day tour so most people on the activity continued on to La Fortuna waterfall and Arenal Volcano. Not a big deal but we weren't expecting the group to be split. Our guide Chino was amazing and showed us a ton of wildlife including toucans, pit vipers, and various other birds and frogs. Mystico is a beautiful park and even if you don't see much wildlife the setting is fabulous.

Wonderful!

Absolutely loved this! My boyfriend and I had an adventure packed morning so it was great to have a relaxing boat ride down the river. We saw a sloth, monkeys, turtles, an alligator, iguanas, beautiful birds, and amazing trees. Our guide was very knowledgeable and did most of the paddling which was nice to get a break. Highly recommend!

Loved!

My boyfriend and I had a great time on this walk. It's hosted by a family who have a beautiful yard that you walk through to see different types of animals/flowers. We saw a red eyed frog, turtles, toads, lizards. The food was good at the end as well. I would recommend!

Arenal Horseback Riding

Amazing and adventurous experience

Wonderful experience!!!!. Me and my husband we both never had a horse riding experience before. I was a bit scared at the beginning. But my horse BAYO made my journey easy. He was clam and knew where to go. My husband had ZAINA. She was also clam. Our guide ALONSO was a polite and friendly guy. He helped me to get rid of my fear. Also he explained everything to the detail. There was one more guide GEOVANY who joined us from another view point. He waited there for us with snacks and water. The route they took was adventurous. I really enjoyed it and I am so happy that I did choose them for horse riding. Now it’s a core memory of me and my husband at Costa Rica. They really deserves more than 5 stars for their service. Highly recommended.

This is definitely an off...

This is definitely an off the road excursion. It’s insanely cool but tougher than I was expecting. Be prepared to be wet and dirty. Definitely need to be fit to do any of the side quests like the “birth canal” but would definitely recommend if you want something different than regular nature in La Fortuna.
