What are people saying about Kyoto

We had an amazing day...
We had an amazing day exploring Kyoto with Papa Ninja (Kokoro). He took us to beautiful shrines and temples, explained the culture and introduced us to fantastic local eateries. What really made the tour stand out was that he brought us to places away from the typical tourist crowds, giving us a chance to experience a more authentic side of Kyoto. His knowledge, sense of humor, and enthusiasm made the entire day enjoyable from start to finish.

Follow Valerie!
This is a great value with a lot of the major to-dos in Kyoto all at once and a friendly host in Valerie! She was thorough, made sure to keep everyone up to date on communications and to pivot and problem-solve as necessary to ensure that we all had a great time!

Exceptional tour with an amazing guide!
We had an incredible experience on the Kyoto Early Morning Tour, and that was largely thanks to our amazing guide, Riana! From start to finish, she was incredibly pleasant, friendly, and super helpful. Her deep knowledge of Kyoto brought the history and culture of the sites to life in a way we wouldn’t have experienced on our own. We highly recommend this tour and would absolutely book another tour with Riana as our guide in the future!

Great break from the crowds
A fun bike tour with a highly knowledgeable guide! It was so nice to get a break from the crowds and be taken to some of the "hidden" gems within the city. Getting to stop for some brown tea and mochi at an establishment that has been in business for over 1000 years was an extra surprise! Would highly recommend!
