What are people saying about Kyoto

100% worth it
Full day seeing all the sights. Lunch is on your own at the second stop and there is plenty of time and plenty of options. Travelled with a family of 4, 2 teenagers and we all loved the tour! Our tour guide, Jack, was excellent. Funny, and informative. We liked that it was self guided at the sights but an excellent way to knock many must-see’s off our list.

Great Tour, Great Guide!
Valerie was an amazing tour guide. Her energy level was top notch. I loved her energetic personality and enjoyed hearing the history and connection to culture which she presented in a fun way. The day was long and jam packed with lots of experiences and Valerie made it worthwhile. I encourage travelers thinking about this one to definitely indulge and hope to get or request Valerie as your guide.

Top 10 spots in Kyoto with Yoshi was awesome, even in the rain!!
We had a great day with Yoshi seeing the
Top 10 sites in Kyoto. It was a fun, informative, and efficient way to hit the top spots, learn about the history, and take in the beautiful cultural landscape.
Yoshi was friendly and funny, adding points about history and pop culture references at each site. He knew all the best spots for pictures and was always ready to take a family shot for us. He sent us loads of pictures at the end. We loved learning about his beautiful family and life in Japan. When he found out the other places we were going in Japan, he shared tons of recommendations!
Highly recommend the tour and Yoshi if you’re looking to see the top places in Kyoto!

Exceptional tour with an amazing guide!
We had an incredible experience on the Kyoto Early Morning Tour, and that was largely thanks to our amazing guide, Riana! From start to finish, she was incredibly pleasant, friendly, and super helpful. Her deep knowledge of Kyoto brought the history and culture of the sites to life in a way we wouldn’t have experienced on our own. We highly recommend this tour and would absolutely book another tour with Riana as our guide in the future!

Great break from the crowds
A fun bike tour with a highly knowledgeable guide! It was so nice to get a break from the crowds and be taken to some of the "hidden" gems within the city. Getting to stop for some brown tea and mochi at an establishment that has been in business for over 1000 years was an extra surprise! Would highly recommend!

Great Tour for First Day in Kyoto
Haru Yamaguchi was an amazing tour guide. He contacted us early to find out what we were most interested in seeing, and then set up a tour plan that made the most sense based on locations. He was very well prepared with our plan for the day and had great information and visuals about Japanese culture and history to enhance our site visits. He made navigating transportation easy. We had a wonderful time on our tour.

We had a fantastic time...
We had a fantastic time on this tour! Everything was well organized, and it was a great way to experience the area without having to worry about the logistics. Our guide, Charles, made the day even better—he was funny, engaging, and communicated everything clearly throughout the tour. He kept everyone informed, answered questions, and made the experience enjoyable from start to finish.
We never felt rushed, and the stops were well worth visiting. If you’re considering this tour, I highly recommend it, especially if you get Charles as your guide!

Beautiful tradition....
Beautiful tradition. Having tea with our tea master was one of our Kyoto highlights. Getting dressed in the kimono is a wonderfully orchestrated process. You pick the color of your kimono and then your lovely team take it from there. Within minutes you are looking stunning in hour kimono. It’s a feeling you should really experience. Lots of photo opportunities. Tea service is rich in tradition. Highly recommend.

A fantastic journey into a truly scenic site of rural coastal Japan!
This wonderfully scenic journey into the rural west coast of Japan is highly recommended with its beautiful fishing villages, gentle beaches and dramatic lush green mountains. Boat and monorail tours are recommended options to fully explore this exciting experience! Jay, who was our tour guide, has a quirky sense of humour and is an excellent organizer, ensuring that we saw everything to schedule!

First time from hawaii
Scarlett did a wonderful job. What's translation between two different languages, she kept the crowd lively, oh, it's gave great timing for when we should be back to the bus.And the consequences, if we are not on time, we're definitely like to have her as a tour guide again, Mahalo

Kyoto highlights
This is an excellent tour. We took a private tour of Austin. He was punctual. He took us to various sites within the city. His explanations were thorough. His Pace was very good. We covered a lot of ground with many shrines and temples. We saw sites of historical and cultural significance. We had life at a local restaurant with Japanese comfort food. All of my family interacted well with him and he provided much information which is beneficial for the rest of the trip. I highly recommend this tour.

Ninja Training
What a great time I had today, the ninja master took us through what ninja expectations were.
So we dressed up as ninjas learned how to use some of the weapons the ninjas use and their escape tactics. The ninja master and staff were so great it made for a great experience by every one in the class.
Highly recommend this for any one traveling solo and family’s great time will be had by all.
Cheers
