Great tour, excellent tour guide
This was a great tour to see a lot of Kyoto in a little bit of time. We had 1 day in Kyoto without access to a car and managed to see quite a bit. Our tour guide, Sophia was informative, enthusiastic and playful. Japan is a lovely country and Sophia did an excellent job introducing us to it.

Kyoto with an A+ English speaking guide
We had such a wonderful Kyoto morning tour with Taira. He s fluent in English, friendly, smart, interesting to listen to and to talk to and always with a genuine smile. He introduced us to all the historical informations before & while visiting the places. We had such a great time and will remember everything he taught us bc of his fluent English and lovely way of explaining, I recommend him to everyone visiting Kyoto, Nara & Osaka with/ without kids

Something a little extra
I had a fantastic experience on this Kyoto tour. Amy was an outstanding guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel welcome. She shared fascinating insights about Kyoto while keeping the tour fun and engaging. Amy also organised kimono hire and took photos throughout the day, which was a really thoughtful touch and made the experience even more memorable. This tour is the perfect introduction to Kyoto and gives you a wonderful taste of what the city has to offer. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kyoto!

Fantastic tour with a great guide
The itinerary was well designed and covered many of the region’s iconic attractions, including Nara Park, Tōdai-ji Temple, Uji, and the breathtaking Fushimi Inari Shrine. The pace was excellent, with enough time to explore while still covering a lot in a single day.
Our guide, Scarlett, truly made the experience outstanding. She was funny, energetic, and incredibly organized. She constantly kept everyone informed through WhatsApp with clear reminders about meeting times and locations, making the day completely stress-free. She was also pleasantly “obsessive” about keeping the group on schedule, which ensured we made the most of every stop without feeling rushed.
Scarlett shared interesting historical and cultural insights throughout the tour, bringing each destination to life rather than simply pointing out landmarks. Her enthusiasm and professionalism kept the group engaged from start to finish.
The transportation was comfortable, everything ran smoothly, and the organization was excellent.I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience Kyoto, Nara, and Uji in a single day. If you’re lucky enough to have Scarlett as your guide, you’re in for a fantastic experience.

10 top things to see in Kyoto
We had an incredible tour led by our excellent guide Tammy. We saw all of the major sites in a customized tour. Tammy took the time to explain things throughly and really crafted the experience to be best for my family. She gave us options for transportation and for the best sites to see and even modified things to get in the most important sites for our family. She was one of the best guides we have worked with. Thank you Tammy!

Take this tour and with this tour guide
This was the best way to see Kyoto. Cici was a fantastic guide…knowledgeable and warm and funny. She was also careful to make sure we didn’t overheat in the hot, sticky weather. She met us at the hotel and we were off to see the beautiful sites of Kyoto. She also took us to hidden areas around Kyoto off the beaten path and not touristy. Highly recommend this tour and Cici as the guide. Five stars!!!

Highly recommended
Extremely pleased with this tour. Amazing views of Amonohashidate and Ine village. Walking through the village built around beautifully carved bay felt like Interlaken of Japan. And our tour guide Rex was very helpful in explaining things to see, places to eat, rest which made a travel smooth even for first time solo travelers.

Hidden Kyoto is the best Kyoto!
This was an amazing tour!! Yuta was our guide. His English is amazing and he is very well-informed about history. He took us to undiscovered, hidden spots that were a breath of fresh air in busy, touristy Kyoto. It was a really warm and we went to a stream in the mountains to cool off our feet. Riding the e-bikes was really fun too!

Amazing experience!
Great experience! The family that hosted the tea ceremony had a wealth of knowledge. They were also extremely kind and answered any questions we had about the ceremony. I have admit as a 5’10 woman I was worried about kimono options but they were very inclusive and had plenty. Also, the team did a great job styling my braids.

Great Tour for First Day in Kyoto
Haru Yamaguchi was an amazing tour guide. He contacted us early to find out what we were most interested in seeing, and then set up a tour plan that made the most sense based on locations. He was very well prepared with our plan for the day and had great information and visuals about Japanese culture and history to enhance our site visits. He made navigating transportation easy. We had a wonderful time on our tour.

Ninja Training
What a great time I had today, the ninja master took us through what ninja expectations were.
So we dressed up as ninjas learned how to use some of the weapons the ninjas use and their escape tactics. The ninja master and staff were so great it made for a great experience by every one in the class.
Highly recommend this for any one traveling solo and family’s great time will be had by all.
Cheers
