Amazing Yacht Cruise

Amazing Staff & Experience!

Amazing! The entire event was well organized and done timely. The staff went above and beyond. The treats were amazing and the staff took great pictures of my family. What a sunset! Such great views! The host/guide was very, very informative. The staff always wanted to attend to our needs. They even asked where we are from, and when I said Jamaica, he said we need some Bob Marley music. He then went to get a Bob Marley song playing on the boat and that was it for us. We were at peace with everything. Also, after reading so many reviews for other tours, we loved the fact that there was so much space on the boat. We never, ever felt crowded. The amount of people was just perfect. I have absolutely nothing to complain about. We were not shorted at all either. It was a full 2.5 hours.

Yacht tour

The yacht tour was an incredible experience! The crew was amazing and very attentive throughout the trip. They provided bottled water, Turkish tea, a delicious snack board, and authentic Turkish coffee, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Our tour guide was fantastic. As we sailed along the Bosphorus, he shared the history of the beautiful buildings, mosques, and landmarks we passed. We also had the opportunity to stop briefly on the Asian side of Turkey, which was such a unique and memorable experience. We truly enjoyed every minute of this tour and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul!

Most fun in years!

This was very fun! We had a wonderful experience. The dancers were fantastic! The DJ was great! Our waitress was so kind and friendly and the photographers took beautiful photos of my son. They all created such a good vibe that we ended with a congo line as though we were all friends. My cheeks were hurting from smiling so much! Also, we followed the advice of an earlier reviewer and booked the pick up and drop off and that was completely worth it. We had a lovely driver! Overall, an unforgettable experience!

Very fun Cruise with stop in the Asia side of Istanbul.

The cruise was the perfect length, and the guide was excellent in narrating the journey up and down the strait, detailing all sites of interest. The snacks are less interesting, but not why we brought ones the excursion. The stop included a mosque tour which we enjoyed very much!

Great way to see and learn about the city!

This is our first time to Istanbul. We did the cruise as our first activity in the city. It was a great way to learn about the city and see it from the river. Snacks and drinks are limited but we knew that going into it. You can buy alcohol while on board. They do stop so you can watch the sunset and take some great photos. I would highly recommend.

Definitely a great way to see Istanbul.

What a fantastic way to see Istanbul. We certainly saw lots of places of interest we wouldn’t see from walking or a land tour. The staff were very attentive with plenty of complimentary refreshments on offer and good beer to buy etc. I had gorgeous fish and salads on the boat. We definitely recommend this boat tour to other visitors.

A very special and memorable experience

So lucky to have chosen this opportunity to go on the Sunset Cruise. The yacht was spotlessly clean and it was a lovely small group experience. We were made to feel so welcome from the moment we arrived to departing the yacht. They offer such a relaxed and interesting experience where you learn about different areas while sailing and have plenty of opportunity to enjoy snacks and the wine they provide. We got to see lots of different beautiful landmarks on the European side and then moved over to the Asian side before seeing the stunning maiden tower up close from the yacht. Would definitely do this experience again and highly recommend it. A wonderful way to enjoy Istanbul from the water with a small group of other likeminded travellers. A very special and memorable experience.

It was OK!

We enjoyed the actual boat trip & the meal. The transport was, I’m afraid, a different matter. We were ready to be picked up before the time stated but they failed to arrive. We emailed, sent a WhatsApp but got no response to either. In the end the hotel staff rang for us and they eventually sent a driver for us 1.5 hours after the stated time. We arrived at the boat as the very last passengers - 30 mins after it was due to depart. I have emailed Viator about this but I am still waiting for their response.

A lovely way to view both sides of Istanbul!

We appreciated this trip because it was smaller, more detailed, longer and more personal than a ferry ride. There were eleven people in our group, ranging in age from mid-20s through 70s. Our guide, Khalid, was knowledgeable about the four stops we visited, as well as about the political and cultural situation of modern-day Turkey. His narration was interspersed with personal anecdotes that gave us insights into Istanbul life and customs. The lunch was quite nice and freshly prepared, with a variety of typical Turkish elements. Though we had anticipated going slightly into the Black Sea, we were told that only special-visa passengers were allowed to do that. We did approach and see the border between the Bosphorus and the Black Sea, though. Two of our four stops were on the Asian side of the Bosphorus. A lovely way to view and learn about both sides of Istanbul.
