Exceptional
Making Turkish coffee was a wonderful experience. The process itself felt special and traditional. Special thanks to Petek who presented the Turkish coffee experience to us. Lovely very warm girl. Her natural way of connecting with people made the atmosphere very comfortable and enjoyable. The coffee was prepared slowly in a small copper pot, allowing the rich aroma to fill the air. Watching the foam rise on the top showed the care and skill that goes into making an authentic Turkish coffee.
When it was served, the presentation was beautiful, usually with a small glass of water and sometimes a piece of Turkish delight. The coffee had a strong, deep flavor and a smooth foam on top, which made it truly enjoyable.
It was not just about drinking coffee, but about the whole moment — relaxing, talking, and appreciating a traditional part of Turkish culture. It was a memorable and authentic experience.

Entertaining, practical, learned lots, great meal!
We had a lovely evening with Gulsah and the two others in our group. It felt like we were all friends by the end of the evening! Fascinating to visit Gulsah's neighbourhood markets and meet the vendors. Then the fun of cooking - and eating - together. The dishes were not complicated and tasty. I can easily make these back at home - now with a twist from Turkiye!

This was a great class!...
This was a great class! Both I and my 10-year-old daughter had a great time. The instructor did a great job of teaching us and also showed us videos on how larger rugs were made as well as showed us the difference of how Persian Rugs are made. He even gave extra time to those who needed it to finish their rugs. I highly recommend this hands on learning and crafting experience.

Would 100% recommend to everyone!!
I had such a lovely experience. Clear instructions given on how to get there and overall a it was a really calm and relaxing vibe. You feel welcomed as soon as you walk in. The staff were lovely, Husen was especially great, he explained everything clearly and made sure we felt comfortable the whole time. You can tell he genuinely enjoys getting to know the visitors. I would 100% recommend to everyone!!

Cooking class with Rojda
I can't possibly say enough good things about our experience doing the cooking class with Rojda. It was be awkward entering a new person's home for the first time, but Rojda made it feel anything but. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with the infamous Turkish hospitality by both Rojda and her sweet little daughter. Water, tea, coffee, slippers, snacks-- everything was shared before we even started cooking.
The food was incredible! We made an amazing feast and cooked so many amazing dishes- enough to feed a small army! Rojda kindly offered to have us take a lot of the food home, but unfortunately we were flying back the next day. The table was full and it was so hard to believe we cooked so much in such a short time-- soup, a main dish, and 4? 5? different mezze. And a salad. Incredible!
The only thing more wonderful than the food was the conversation. Rojda shared with us about her life- what an amazing and inspiring woman she is! She shared with so much openness and honesty and warmth. It's amazing how even come from such different backgrounds, we have so many things in common and points of connection.
My whole family- 2 adults and 2 kids- had the most wonderful time. It is an experience none of us will ever forget, and we are so grateful we got to take part in. Thank you Rojda!

Rüstem was very knowleagable about the history of coffee and how to prepare it the Turkish way. He also was very friendly and interacted with the whole group making us feel comfortable. An entertaining way to learn about coffee culture
The experience took place in our guide's home which was a short walk from the Blue Mosque. He was engaging and entertaining and made the experience fun for us both. It was a short little workshop but was an enjoyable way to learn about Turkish coffee culture.

Exceptional !!!
My experience was SUPER AMAZING! I wished it never ended. I had an amazing time! Amazing history of coffee, amazing coffee related Turkish stories, great humour. The workshop space is very beautifully decorated and in the heart of town - near Taksim and so many shopping malls. This was a therapy and I wished my husband was with me. The host is super amazing! Very polite, patient, speaks English fluently and is human. Had a great time and I recommend 2000%! 😍😍
