Wonderful excursion into the local food of Hoi An
We took the food tour with Swan, it was a great experience. Swan was very engaging and at the outset created a congenial atmosphere for all members of the tour. She combined visits to sites where some of the raw sources of food were derived (noodle makers, sprout producers), and then to various restaurants/foodcarts/vendors where the actual foods were prepared and consumed. The tour took us to places we would have never found on our own and gave us a greater connection to the lives, livelihoods and food of regular Vietnamese. It was a delicious and delightful experience.

Well worth the early start
This is a great tour. It is definitely best to go early as it is much quieter. It took us roughly 1 hour to get there . Be sure to take a hat as there is very little shade . Our guide Lint was excellent and took care of us all very well .
I would recommend this tour

Incredible food and great experience
We had the most incredible walking street food tour in Hoi A with Andy. The food was beyond amazing, every stop was something special and many were places we would never have discovered on our own. It felt like being shown the real Hoi An through the eyes of a local.
Andy was absolutely wonderful, incredibly knowledgeable, sincere and genuinely invested in making sure we had a fantastic experience. He shared so much about the food, the culture, and the history along the way, which made the whole afternoon even more memorable.
This was easily one of the highlights of our time in Hoi An. We’re already looking forward to coming back and having Andy take us to even more hidden food spots next time.

Outstanding cooking class and experience
The company reached out and arranged to pick us up at our hotel which was not on the list. I recommend closed shoes for the market tour! The bamboo boat ride was fun and we tried to catch small crabs. We even got to paddle! Chef Tam was an excellent instructor, even passing on knife skills. Our 5 course meal was more than we could eat. The cao loa noodles and the mushroom pancake were the tastiest of the 5 dishes. WC stops were provided. Bring cash for the market or drinks with lunch and tips.

We had a wonderful...
We had a wonderful experience on the evening food tour in Hoi An with Emma! She was warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about Vietnamese cuisine and local culture. Emma took us to hidden gems and popular local spots we never would have found on our own, and every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. She explained each food’s background and ingredients in a way that made the experience even more meaningful.
What truly made the tour special was Emma’s enthusiasm and genuine care for her guests. She made everyone feel comfortable, answered all our questions, and shared great stories about life in Hoi An. Walking through the lantern-lit streets while enjoying amazing food was unforgettable. This tour was a highlight of our trip, and we highly recommend Emma to anyone looking for an authentic and fun food experience in Vietnam!

Highly recommended! Like...
Highly recommended! Like others, I was a bit surprised that this was a private tour. I am naturally quite shy but my tour guide Toan was friendly and made me feel comfortable.
The food was amazing, 100% Vegan, and I got to try things I never would have tried on my own (like the black sesame dessert and the white roses)
Toan shared his knowledge of food, life and culture in Hoi An and was happy to answer all of my questions.
Don't worry if you have dietary requirements, allergies or things you just don't like - your tour guide will ask you and ensure you have the best experience.

100% recommend this trip! We had an amazing experience
This cooking class is definitely worth attending in Hoi An. We cooked 5 delicious dishes from scratch and everyone in the group is fully involved in the process. Our teacher was really entertaining and had great English. They were super accommodating for dietary requirement eg vegetarian / gluten free that were in our group. There was no time pressure to leave after we had finished cooking and we were able to enjoy our meal and chat as a group. The girls were great for taking photos of everything too. It was a brilliant experience and one of the highlights of our time in Hoi An. We opted in for collect and drop off from our hotel which was super convenient and good value too.
