Andy/Anh, was a fabulous guide, taking us on a culinary adventures over 4 hrs and 12 traditional dishes in the back streets of Hoi An. We had been in Hoi An for 10days and not tasted most of the dishes he invited us to try, from the famous White Rose dumplings to the Black Sesame bowl and exceptional Banh Mi at Phoung, we learnt and enjoyed everything he shared. Luckily, it was just my wife and I, which allowed more time in each space and the opportunity to us to learn more detail about the food and also to talk to Anh about his life in Hoi An. As he spoke excellent English, he was able to explain the historical and cultural roots of the food, as well as his relationship with Hoi An and what it was like to live and grow up in Vietnam. A genuine nice guy with a deep love and pride of his birthplace and his country... Highly recommend the tour. Great experience.

    Man was our friendly...

Man was our friendly guide who took us to 7 delicious stops spanning dumplings, noodles and a couple of sweet treats. We ate at local spots I never would have otherwise visited. A great off the beaten path option for those looking to learn more about Hoi An’s food and history. My favourite was trying to contrasts of three types of dumplings and learning about how the Chinese and Japanese trade influenced the local food.

Fantastic food tour with an excellent guide

Excellent food tour and a great way to discover Hoi An’s local food scene. We visited many different places that I would never have found on my own. Our guide, Man, spoke excellent English and did a fantastic job explaining not only the food but also the history and local culture. The atmosphere with the other travelers was very friendly, making it a fun and social experience. I highly recommend this tour if you want to try authentic Vietnamese food and learn more about Hoi An.

    Five star tour.

    Great traditional food spots

Andy showed me a lot of really nice food spots that were mostly located a bit outside of the old town which was great because that way I was able to explore more places in Hoi An! The food was really yummy and so much!

    Hoi An deliciousness!

This was a fabulous food tour! Besides my guide, Andy, being very friendly and good at what he does, he did not cancel the tour, even though I was the only one signed up for it! So much food. So much Hoi An information! The suggestion is not to eat much before the tour and I’ll suggest you don’t finish everything you’re given because there are no tiny portions! But you’ll certainly want to finish it all… I do food tours wherever I travel in the world and this was one of the best.
