Thomas great guide!Informative and very friendly. Good way to experience culture. Rice paper making good fun. Perhaps more free time to explore My Son Sanctuary but amazing. Lunch good and nice to finish with the river boat trip. All in all a great trip. Thank you!

Our guide Al was great, very informative and funny at times, however, the advert says 2 hours to explore the sanctuary, we had a total of 35 minutes to go off on our own and explore, very disappointed.
The rice paper making was a bit rushed and not really needed, the boat ride back to Hoi An was a nice finish to a hot day though. Overall was ok but disappointed and felt rushed at times.

We had booked this tour as it said small group and luxury, it was neither. We had more than 12 in the group ,which meant to pick them all up took time, and the bus was then completely full and you felt squeezed in Because the group was large it was difficult to hear the guide, our guide also did not give out some basic information .
He gave information about the my son place but nothing else ,there was a dance show and we missed some of this because of miscommunication.
There was a sun set boat ride which was really nice and the guide was with us but there was no input from him, when you are with a tour guide giving about information are where you are visiting would be useful

Some amount of walking involved. Reading about My Son sanctuary before the trip shall help in understanding. However, the guide, the lunch and the boat trip left much to be desired.

We booked tour to primarily see My Sun Sanctuary. Although our guide communicated well and the tour was fine, our problem was she was constantly rushing us from spot to spot relentlessly. All travelers in the group agreed & we expressed that to her.
We traveled 1/2 way around the world to Hoi An, and My Sun Sanctuary was our only day trip. We recognize that the problem was we booked an open tour. Your price was great, we saw the ruins, etc.
However, as a suggestion to you, charge a bit more for the tour so that a traveler does not need to be so rushed. We wanted more than selfie opportunities at World heritage site.
Nevertheless, guide and driver got a decent gratuity, at least from us.
Had she not constantly rushed us through, tour review would have been 5 star.
Our lesson, even with just the two of us, book a private car.

Overall, I was disappointed with this tour. Everything felt rushed, the rice paper making and the lunch were good, the boat ride at the end was mid, but our guide Handsome Guy made it seem like my two elderly parents were more of a burden than anything else, and that left a sour note on our experience at My Son.
He did arrange an electric cart to help us get partway to My Son and back, which I appreciated, but for most of the tour, we felt like we were just being hurried along. My parents walk slower than others (understandably because they are much older), and instead of being patient or checking in, our guide would just march ahead at top speed with the others in tow without saying anything to us like “take your time” or offering to catch them up later when we caught up to the group. Was he knowledgeable? Yes. Was he engaging, personable, or thoughtful? Not really, in my opinion.
From what I heard, he had another tour the same day, so I get that he was trying to stay on schedule—but still, we did a bunch of tours on this trip and never felt unwelcome on any of them except this one. Just not a great experience overall.

My Son is crowded.
The guide spoke English well and was engaging.
He did not guide us through parts of the My Son site. Other groups had their guide with them.
Small group which allowed the guide to interact with each of us.
Important history. Lovely sanctuary. Sad to see the bomb holes.

It is as per the brochure. Enough time is given at My Son Sanctury. Nice short visit to a family home to see rice paper making and meet the family pigs. Lunch was nice. Not much point to boat on the river as there is not really much to see. Our guide was lovely, funny and very engaging. If you want to visit My Son Sanctury, this trip is good.

I think the trip was overpriced. It included a lot of activities in short time and it felt like we were in a hurry to catch up with them. The boat tour was short and not really worth it. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable, but could further explain details for My Son monument. The making of rice paper was interesting.

The temple was what was expected so nothing wrong with that. The guide knew a lot of history and you could understand him. The boat experience was mid, the ride was short and not really pleasant. The rice paper thing was as expected. The lunch was mid. Not a bid variety of food and the noodles were tasteless. The water given in the car was hot.

This was an excellent tour of My Son Sanctuary with tour guide Phuoc. He was easy to understand and had excellent knowledge of the Sanctuary and its history. We saw everything that was listed on the itinerary and the tour was on schedule from pickup to drop off. Excellent driver and included a beautiful Vietnamese lunch at a lovely local restaurant. Very delicious and excellent service. The My Son Sanctuary is a must to see and even better on this excellent well organized tour. Thanks Phuoc.

Had a nice day with Luan, who was very informative and gave us good amounts of time to see the different parts of the ruins—both guided and with our own pacing. Especially appreciated his attention to the crowds, and getting us there early enough to get good photos with fewer people in them. Small group size was nice also. This was a fun tour with lots of components, making for a rich and educational day.

The guide was excellent, the driver super. Generous comments from the guide, he loves is country. Answered all our question, and very well organized for the visit. Don’t miss this tour. Nice boat ride of 20 minutes at the end. The guide was very funny.
On the downside 2 passengers were MIA we waited 30 minutes they had changed hotel but the driver and guide were not advised of this ( not the fault of the guide and driver)

We did half day trip which was perfect. My Son Sanctuary was beautiful.....the ancient architecture was amazing. I took a shot at making a rice paper sheet on that stop...very fun.
Our tour hosts were awesome, Luan and our driver(Po?) were great.

It was beautiful place, definitely a must go. However, the tour was too rushed, didn’t even get breaks to buy drinks and have an icecream.
There was also a museum there which I wanted to see but don't have the time for.

We had Jesmine as our guide she was informative but I think she rushed everything.
By the time we got to the show we were at the back with no seats so difficult to see what was going on. We had no time to go to the museum. The rice paper making was fun but the lunch was poor quality and poor quantity. Maybe miss out the lunch stop and add in the museum or go somewhere with a buffet lunch.
Would recommend seeing My Son but just going there and coming back without the other bits

Tony/Bao was such an amazing guide! Super knowledgable and funny, he provided our group with excellent insight into the Champa Kingdom and the My Son Sanctuary. We had a great day and very much recommend anyone interested in seeing My Son to consider taking this tour.
The afternoon was capped off with rice paper making, a local lunch and a peaceful ride down the Thu Bon River - a perfect conclusion to an excellent tour.

Really recommend for anyone planning to go to My Son to book this trip.
Our guide, Báu, was very knowledgeable about the sanctuary, hindu religion and and Cham Pa history, and Vietnam's history. He was also very interesting and a good laugh!
We got picked up at the time arranged, and were driven to the My Son sanctuary first, where Báu took us through and very interestingly explained how the sanctuary was constructed, and what it meant to the Cham Pa people.
After the tour was done, we went back on the vehicle and were taken to a farm to learn how rice paper is made, but we also learnt more about rural life in Vietnam, which was very interesting.
We all had a go at making our own rice paper, and then had some delicious rice snacks!
To end the day, we were taken to our Báu's house, located nearby the farm to eat a traditional Vietnamese home cooked meal, made by his mother. It was truly delicious and there was so much food to eat, we all left stuffed with very happy bellies.
After lunch, we were driven to the river to get on the boat, which was a very nice way to return back to Hoi An!
I would thoroughly recommend this trip to anyone planning to go to the My Son ruins!
