Great outing for history and views
Really enjoyed this outing, which included history of one of the darkest parts of Australian history, and lots of opportunities to see great views of costal Tasmania. The guide was extremely engaging and knowledgeable, and provided such outstanding narrative of the history and insights of the area.

Got to see Tasmanian...
Got to see Tasmanian rainforest and waterfall, Tasmanian devil and wombats at the sanctuary, Richmond town and also summit of Mount Wellington. Jarrod is really nice and knowledgeable about history of Tasmania and the convicts. He will dump heaps of info especially when there is a kiddo constantly asking questions!

Bruny Island day trip
We had a fantastic trip to Bruny Island with Mark as our guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel welcome. The highlight for me was seeing how much my 7yo son enjoyed the tour, he happily followed Mark around, eager to explore and learn about everything along the way. It was wonderful to see him so engaged.
Thank you Mark for making our Bruny Island trip such a memorable trip.

Awesome tour, highly recommended.
This was a brilliant tour and our guides, Murray and Laura, were superb in terms of organisation, information and general good humour. It was a long day, but we had good time at each stage of the itinerary and the food options were excellent. The tale end of the cruise section was really cold, but we were even given hand warmers, which were very welcome.

Great trip in Tasmania!
We had such a great day! Our driver and guide was friendly, funny, and very knowledgeable. He made the long drive enjoyable and shared lots of interesting information along the way.
The two crew members on the cruise were also amazing. They were professional, responsible, and explained everything clearly, which made the experience even better.
The scenery was incredible, and the whole tour was very well organized. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tasmania. Thank you for an unforgettable day!

Insightful Bruny Island Tour
It starts early so everyone should be on time for their appointed pick up time. The guide is very knowledgeable and has a sense of humour which makes the tour light hearted and cheerful. Many places were covered without feeling too rushed. Even the lighthouse walk had 2 groups to cater to various walking speed. Overall, many food tasted along the way with good amount of info given at each area.

Fantastic tour, well worth it
Highly recommend this tour. The guide Kieran was excellent, all the stops were interesting. The morning tea, lunch and snacks were delicious. They catered really well for my gluten free, coeliac diet. Bonus were the complementary gifts from different stops, generous sized and delicious.
We nearly cancelled as it was a rainy, cold and miserable day. So glad we didn’t! Plenty to see and do, we didn’t get wet. The island looked beautiful with grey clouds, photos were great.

Stunning views!
The rugged shoreline of Port Arthur is absolutely stunning! The entire staff was friendly and professional, from the receptionist at check-in to the driver to the boat captain - all superb. The travel van was clean and comfortable and our boat driver passed by the cliffs from both directions and circled around so that everyone in the boat could get a fantastic views. My only recommendation would be to have a Guide at the Port Arthur Penitentiary to give us a live guided tour.

Our driver Rob added to this experience!!
First the time frame of 9:30am-5:30pm was perfect. Really like the two short stops at the chocolate and lavender stores. We traveled with Rob, who is just great. his commentary along the way showed how knowledgeable he is of the area. I really liked when we got to Port Arthur that Rob took the time to walk the group in and in front of the penitentiary building he gave us some tips including where he thought would be the best starting spot.He answered all questions and genuinely wanted everyone to enjoy their time there. If you have the opportunity to leave Port Arthur, I little bit early and go see the Remarkable caves …do it. The views of Maingot bay and the cave are beautiful.

Must do in Hobart
Our tour guide Tony was hilarious with his dad jokes whilst being very knowledgeable on the history of Hobart and Mt Wellington. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. Make sure you bring warm clothing as the top of Mt Wellington has a chilling wind that goes right through you.

Derwent River Historic cruise.
Great service, food was lovely, nice cruise along the river. Unfortunately however, we were not able to hear any of the commentary due to an extremely noisy group of travellers who had no regard for their anyone else. No blame can be attached to the operators and we would not hesitate to do it again.

Hobart day trips are a convenient way to experience the best of Tasmania’s wild landscapes and historical sites. Explore the island’s rugged coastline on a scenic cruise, step back in time with a visit to the UNESCO-listed Port Arthur, or take in panoramic views from the top of Mount Wellington. With its compact size and dramatic surroundings, Tasmania is easy to explore from Hobart, making the capital city an ideal base for day-long adventures into Australia’s southernmost, and often most overlooked, state.
