A Road Trip Around Greater Hobart
The experience is a full day--rainforest walk, a visit to a wildlife sanctuary, a touristy town with shops and eateries, and a drive to the top of Mt. Wellington. I personally thought we spent too much time in Richmond the touristy town; others on the tour would disagree. Jarrod, our guide, was very informative and personable. I recommend this tour.

This one day tour on...
This one day tour on Bruny ticked all the boxes. Ben our guide was not only fabulous with his knowledge of Bruny but also generous with all the little anecdotal stories he shared. The day passed all too quickly with us enjoying a taste of the various different experiences Bruny has to offer. Thanks Ben!

My favourite day in Tassie!
Had the loveliest day trip here, got very lucky with the weather too! Our guide, Patrick, was the best! Super helpful, gave us a lot of insight into Tasmanian history and local spots. The hike was a fun challenge, and the views definitely made up for it. The Cape Tourville Circuit Walk and stop at Devil's Corner were my personal highlights. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a day out in Freycinet/Wineglass Bay :)

Interesting educational get historical information and aestethic pleasure
It was a wonderful trip. I got tired of turning my head on the way - there are amazing views everywhere: coves, hills, fields, picturesque farms, we were lucky with the weather, the sky is blue overhead, the sun is shining ! Our guide and driver Rod is a charming man with a great sense of humor and a wonderful storyteller who loves and knows the history of his region. The place we visited is simply unique in its beauty, has an unusual dark and instructive history. I recommend this tour to everyone.

Bruny in a nut shell
The host Pasqual was very good.
He was very informative , every stop we were provided with an abundance of information.
The stops were great , gave us a very good insight into Bruny Island.
The stops were at decent intervals with adequate time.
There were lots of fresh walks on trails which is great on a bus tour.
We were picked up and dropped of on time.
This was one of the better tours we done.

Bruny Island tour is a must do!
Great tour start to finish our guide was so knowledgeable about the local area and history, the oysters were just gold and the local tasting of cheeses were delicious. Bruny Is tour is a must spectacular views and one of the only ways to climb the lighthouse and get the history and stories.

This is my first tour in...
This is my first tour in Hobart and I can say, it is incredible. Of course, as a solo traveller, safety is a must and so far they always make sure all of us are taken care of. The guide give us a lot of time to enjoy every stop , especially the port arthur tour. Very friendly staff as well and theres nothing more I could ask for. I highly recommend this tour.

Our driver Rob added to this experience!!
First the time frame of 9:30am-5:30pm was perfect. Really like the two short stops at the chocolate and lavender stores. We traveled with Rob, who is just great. his commentary along the way showed how knowledgeable he is of the area. I really liked when we got to Port Arthur that Rob took the time to walk the group in and in front of the penitentiary building he gave us some tips including where he thought would be the best starting spot.He answered all questions and genuinely wanted everyone to enjoy their time there. If you have the opportunity to leave Port Arthur, I little bit early and go see the Remarkable caves …do it. The views of Maingot bay and the cave are beautiful.

Must do in Hobart
Our tour guide Tony was hilarious with his dad jokes whilst being very knowledgeable on the history of Hobart and Mt Wellington. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. Make sure you bring warm clothing as the top of Mt Wellington has a chilling wind that goes right through you.

Derwent River Historic cruise.
Great service, food was lovely, nice cruise along the river. Unfortunately however, we were not able to hear any of the commentary due to an extremely noisy group of travellers who had no regard for their anyone else. No blame can be attached to the operators and we would not hesitate to do it again.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Hobart day trips are a convenient way to experience the best of Tasmania’s wild landscapes and historical sites. Explore the island’s rugged coastline on a scenic cruise, step back in time with a visit to the UNESCO-listed Port Arthur, or take in panoramic views from the top of Mount Wellington. With its compact size and dramatic surroundings, Tasmania is easy to explore from Hobart, making the capital city an ideal base for day-long adventures into Australia’s southernmost, and often most overlooked, state.
