Simon was an excellent guide, had lots of interesting personal anecdotes, also spoke clearly and didn't have problems understanding him (sometimes the Australian accent throws me). Stops were well timed and I liked having options for lunch instead of being locked into 1 restaurant. This was a great way to hit these spots that really can't be done by public transportation. What a wonderful tour we had with our guide, Davo!! This full-day trip is so worth it. Davo was not only knowledgeable, but his humor was an added treat. The various stops were all beyond good, but the lighthouse and beach times were the highlight. This tour is a must to really enjoy Bruny Island to the fullest.

A fabulous cruise from start to finish

This cruise was a fabulous experience from start to finish. The tour leaders were very professional and experienced and we felt we were in good hands. It was a real adventure and we saw so much of the rugged side Bruny Island only accessible by boat. The steep cliffs with interesting rock formations, caves, etc were teaming with bird life, and the rugged islands are home to lots of fur seals, which we were able to see up close from the safety of the boat. Yes, you do need to dress warmly as it does get cold out on the water even on a warm day, as we experienced, but the provided protective suits help. It can be a wild ride, especially on the way back, but so much fun. We loved it

Brilliant Day Trip

Brodie was a brilliant guide, he gave just enough informative commentary which was mixed with a good sense of humour. He also gave very clear instructions on where to go at each location and when to return. He also added a 'surprise' additional stop on our return. Port Arthur is a fascinating place that's worth the long drive. As others have commented, this isn't strictly a fully guided trip as the guide doesn't take you around Port Arthur but I dont think this would be tenable to keep a large group together for hours around such a massive site.

This was a great tour....

This was a great tour. Our driver Dave was funny, informative and made this tour enjoyable. Takes an hour to get up the mountain. You have 30 mins up there and the view is spectacular. We were lucky enough to have a clear view of Hobart and then the snow clouds came over and it bucketed with snow. Such a cool experience. It’s a must do when in Hobart.

Fun, Exciting, Educational

A fun, exciting and educational day. They go out of the way for their customers. Our guide and bus driver, Zoe did a great job. She was enthusiastic, attentive to our needs, informative, and funny. She stopped to show us special things like white wallabies by the side of the road and told us stories and history of the region. On the boat, Captain Mick had great jokes, knew his stuff and, with Zoe's help did a terrific job navigating us through the turbulent waters, giving us an exciting and beautiful 3-hour tour. Lunch was delicious fish and chips. Many thanks to Zoe, Mick and the rest of the team for a great time!

The cruise was fabulous, long enough and also very I formative . The lunch was very good and well worth it . Definitely a must in Hobart. We did the lunch cruise visiting g both nietn and south. I imagine that the individual north and with trips would be just as good . However we liked having lunch at the same time.

Bountiful Bruny.

This Bruny Island tour was ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!!!! All other tour groups we saw on the day got off their bus and walked in unguided and were left to themselves. Our tour guide took us in and introduced the staff and we got private tastings and experiences. We ate delicious local oysters and cheeses on the beach, climbed the lighthouse, had lunch at the pub, then it was off for chocolate and fudge tastings and then more cheese. Having a guide who has lived on the island for forty years meant we got to see and learn about things that other tours drove straight past. It couldn't have been a better day!

Fun on Bruny!

Dave was an excellent guide whom made the trip funny and informative. We got to see most of the island and all the cool little stores! My wife and I had an amazing time and we recommend this trip to everyone! Great food Dave and the team. We enjoyed everything but the three standouts were the cheese tasting, lunch and The Neck lockout. But we very munched enjoyed Dave’s commentary and the garden tour with chocolate tasting. Victor was an absolutely AMAZING guide! Funny, knowledgeable and damn right entertaining! The trip was perfect for a short afternoon. Bonorong is small but plenty to do. Also managed to catch the free tour for about 30 minutes which gave insight into some of the animals.

Exciting adventure on the water and land. The hard-working crew of two makes the adventure what it is, an exciting experience, lesson on the history, geology, and wildlife of the area. The caring crew are there to make you comfortable throughout the journey. We were able to see wildlife in the waters and on the land with a walking tour of Maria Island and the convict quarters. A nice lunch was served on board the boat as well as snacks and drinks throughout the tour. The boat was comfortable and managed well over the rough water with the experienced captain at the helm. An enjoyable day, indeed.
