Andrew is awesome bus tour guide. He was on time. Explaining the detail of some historical site. Giving also give us recommendation of where to dine. Weather is great day and spotted one of the wild life animal. It was amazing experience definitely come back for different tour.

Fantastic day out. Although the history of Port Arthur is somewhat grim, it is also fascinating and worth getting to know. The scenery is beautiful. Our driver/guide was knowledgeable and friendly, and helped the small group to gel. He went out of his way to ensure we had a good time. Highly recommended.

If you are carrying luggage or a stroller, it essential that you inform us directly at the time of booking. Please ensure plenty of time to get to your selected pick up location. This is a shuttle service which means if you are not at your location on time the bus cannot wait. Please do not call if the bus is a few minutes late remembering traffic and other pick ups can cause delays. The bus will never leave before the time specified.

The departures and duration of transfers are exact. Bus departing times are strict (to and from Port Arthur), No refunds if you miss the bus. Please understand that the bus cannot wait around and that you will have to make other arrangements if you miss the return bus. Allow plenty of time to get to your pick up locations.

Delightful Port Arthur

This tour was a delightful and informative experience, largely thanks to our excellent driver and guide, Mark. Mark's extensive knowledge kept everyone on the bus thoroughly engaged throughout the day. The small group of nine people also contributed to a very relaxed atmosphere. The Port Arthur area and its surroundings were serene and beautiful. I wish to extend a sincere thank you to Mark for making this such a memorable trip.

Old Bus and Missing Info

The drive to Port Arthur was beautiful. Unfortunately we had an old bus with no working speaker system or AC. There was miss communication with driver on our pickup location as I received texts asking us to meet at the Travel Center. Additionally, we were not given detailed information regarding our visit to Port Arthur.

I am sorry to hear about the poor experience you had with us. While 90% of our fleet consists of modern vehicles under warranty, we occasionally utilise backup buses when mechanical issues arise. We are aware of a tour in early January where a backup bus was used; however, I am investigating why the PA system and air conditioning were not operational. I will follow up with the driver involved to get more clarification on this matter. Despite the issues with the vehicle, I hope you enjoyed the stops along the way and your time at Port Arthur.

We had a lovely day exploring the Tasman Peninsula. We visited many beautiful lookouts, chocolate factory and lavender farm. Make sure you try the lavender daiquiri. The 3 hour visit to Port Arthur was very enjoyable. Skye our tour guide was very helpful and knowledgeable.

The trip included stops at a lavender farm, chocolate factory and harbour cruise. Also able to visit an interesting cave. Our guide was perfect, combining knowledge with a pleasant personality. So much to see at Port Arthur that one has to be selective as to which buildings to visit.

Shuttle arrived on time as scheduled. A comfortably drive all the way. Rob (driver) was very knowledgeable in Tasmanian history. Ran a very well timed schedule to all pre-planned site stops. Made sure our admission to Port Arthur was well organised. Provided a great introductory talk about the settlement once we’d arrived. A very well organised & scheduled day. Port Arthur Solo Traveller Tour

I loved how informative and friendly the bus driver was, and how efficiently we covered a few key spots before going to Port Arthur; a chocolate factory, a lavender farm, and a great lookout area, as well as another lookout spot on the way back. I liked that I was able to cover a fairly big portion of the site with a fellow traveller, and in less than 3 hours! The Isle of The Dead was also incredible, as well as the history behind the whole site, which was shocking.

Our tour guide Gino was incredibly knowledgable, and cracked as many jokes as he could with our quiet group! The stops along the way are amazing, and Port Arthur itself is so vast, make sure you come with a plan of what you want to see! Unfortunately didn’t make it to the Remarkable Cave detour, but heard those who did go had an amazing time!!! Thanks again Gino!!!

Port Arthur day tour

The driver was very friendly & knowledgeable. Lots of walking around the Port Arthur site is required, which may not suit persons who are elderly or slightly infirm. A service is available for those unable to walk far, but not all areas of the site are accessible with this.

We took a day trip, the trip excluded the tickets to enter the Port Arthur. Good tour guide, Mark (not really sure is this correct, as we are the last to get into the bus, not heard the introduction) explain a lot history related to the Port. The sight seeing along the tour also good.
