What are people saying about Ponte Vecchio

Highlights well worth it!
This is a great highlights tour. If you want to see all of both museums, you may want to plan 2 days for it. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Florence, it's artists and art history. Had a fantastic visit!

Split Them Up
Our tour guide was lovely, patient and knowledgeable about art history, but the Uffizi Museum process required some waiting, as it was extremely crowded at the time we went. This was not a fault of the tour company. I would recommend doing two different tours--one of the Accademia and a separate one of the Uffizi, as the Uffizi especially requires more time than the tour allotted.

Marco’s tour was fantastic!
This is a wonderful first day tour of Florence and an excellent art history of the highlights! Marco is an informative and entertaining guide. The tour is well paced and provides easy access to two very busy museums.

It was a long tour but so worth it! Francesca was incredible!! It was great to skip the lines at both locations and the walking tour on the way was incredible! I wish we had done it earlier in our trip because she gave lots of food recommendations.

Florence
The famous Ponte Vecchio bridge in Florence on a sunny day.
  • The pedestrian-only Ponte Vecchio is closed to traffic, except for police cars and other service vehicles.

  • The bridge leads to the Oltrarno neighborhood, a trendy part of Florence on the south side of the river filled with excellent restaurants and cafés.

  • There are no stairs on either side of the bridge, so it is fully accessible to wheelchairs and strollers.

  • The jewelry shops on the bridge are quite respectable—some have been there for a century—and are an excellent place to choose a special gift or souvenir.
