Long walk to see the Statue of David and more!
Great tour! Our tour guide Mico ( it might have been Marco) was a wealth of information held our attention and showed concern for our safety. However this trip is not for the faint hearted because of the intense long walking and quick pace. I was very happy either way the knowledge I gained and the master pieces I saw! Thank you for this great opportunity!!!’

This is a great tour, but...
This is a great tour, but I definitely suggest doing the Uffizi part as well! Giada was an amazing guide - she was knowledgeable about the histories, subject matter, and perspectives of the pieces. It really made it enjoyable to hear how and why these artworks came to be. Would love to tour the first floor of the Uffizi with her!

Great guide
Most knowledgeable guide Marco! We saw a lot and learned a lot. He guided us through the crowds to see David at Accademia , the cathedral and many beautiful and important paintings in Ufizzi. We would ask for him next time!

Lori, an exceptional guide!
I had several tours in Italy over the last week and this was so far the best one. In my experience any tour highly depends on the guide and this one was beyond my expectations! Lori did the outstanding job in both galleries and even around the city center, she is highly knowledgeable. Thank you Lori!

Florence
The famous Ponte Vecchio bridge in Florence on a sunny day.
  • The pedestrian-only Ponte Vecchio is closed to traffic, except for police cars and other service vehicles.

  • The bridge leads to the Oltrarno neighborhood, a trendy part of Florence on the south side of the river filled with excellent restaurants and cafés.

  • There are no stairs on either side of the bridge, so it is fully accessible to wheelchairs and strollers.

  • The jewelry shops on the bridge are quite respectable—some have been there for a century—and are an excellent place to choose a special gift or souvenir.
