Must Do Experience
This is a great experience. Katie was very knowledgeable. We stopped at 4 places to experience the culture. We had a brief safety lesson. The bikes were fun and shaped like a Harley Motor bike. It was fun. Katie took pictures of us along the way and at the end of the tour she shared the pictures to our phones. Great way to save and enjoy your experience all over again.

Great Private Tour
Edgar Tours have nice air conditioned vans and English speaking guides. Carlos took us to all the places we wanted to see. We visited the chocolate factory and learned how chocolate beans were harvested and prepared for making chocolate. We visited Pink Street and Umbrella Street and a beautiful old cathedral where we enjoyed some moments of quiet meditation and prayers of thanksgiving. We opted out of Monkey Farm since it was a 40 minute drive away. There is also a butterfly place to visit. If you’re interested, he can take you to a cigar making place and a rum making place. Carlos took pictures of us at the scenic lookout as well as other attractions. He also provided a bottle of cold water to us halfway through.
We thoroughly enjoyed Carlos! He was so considerate of us and our comfort and told us everything we wanted to know about Puerta Plata and its history. This tour is well worth the money. Great value and great personal attention. Ask for Carlos!

Awesome Waterfalls Hike
Our excursion operator arranged our meeting point at the port and we were easily able to locate them upon arrival. Our shuttle driver, Andy, was very polite and helpful and drove us to and from the trailhead. The hike to the waterfalls was about 45 minutes but was pretty easy because there wasn't a lot of elevation change. The waterfalls were beautiful and it was fun sliding down the waterfall into the pool of water at the bottom. The guides on the hike did a great job ensuring everyone's safety as folks jumped from the waterfall or slid down. On the drive back to the port, Andy took us by a restaurant where ate a delicious authentic Dominican Republic lunch. Would highly recommend this excursion!

A time was had!!
Our excursion was great from beginning to end. Transportation was on time for our pick up! Our tour guide was amazing and so kind! The pics taken by staff along the tour were just beautiful (a must buy well worth it)! My family of 5 enjoyed every moment! Book with them, you will not be disappointed.

Fabulous fun
A really fantastic experience driving the ATV buggies! The operators were friendly, organised, and communicated clearly, so everything ran smoothly — including pick-up from the cruise port. The whole trip felt well planned and we were really well looked after. Just be prepared: you will get absolutely soaked in mud, so bring water shoes and wear clothes you don’t mind getting very dirty. We had so much fun!

Great!
The crew was wonderful and the whole afternoon was well planned. You need to follow the guide when snorkeling so it did feel a little rushed trying to keep up but also see the fish. You practice snorkeling in shallow water and then move to deeper water. Lunch was great and a neat experience.

Great experience!
Picked up right outside of the port and had a great time. Got a little history and information on the way there and felt very taken care of through the process of checking in and getting started.
We do wish there were more jumps and slides but it was a lot of fun!
Lunch was so delicious!

Monkeyland in Puerto Plata, D.R.
Visiting Monkeyland in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic was one of the absolute highlights of our trip! It’s such a unique, interactive experience—especially if you love animals. The squirrel monkeys are incredibly friendly and will climb right onto your shoulders, arms, and even your head if you let them! It felt surreal having them gently take food right out of our hands. The staff was knowledgeable and guided us the entire time, making sure both the guests and the monkeys were safe and comfortable.

Lots of walking
Our guide was amazing and we enjoyed every minute - until we have to walk to the lagoon. He said that he thought it was 200 meters. Actually, based on my Apple Watch it was close to a mile each way. My husband really struggled, even with his cane. We stayed at the first, smaller lagoon because we could not walk that far and all the way back. I strongly suggest they / you measure this exactly and make it part the the description- we would have picked a different adventure.

Book this trip!
This was a phenomenal day trip! We got to see so much of the country side and beautiful Dominican nature. Having lunch in a tree house and swimming in a waterfall we're my highlights! Our guide, Carlos, was energetic, very knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about sharing his culture with us. We learned so much! Jason, the photographer, was lovely to spend the day with and he took great photos! Definitely let him take your photo all day and the buy them at the end. Our driver, Jimmy was also great! This was one of my favourite excursions across multiple all-inclusive trips to Mexico, Costa Rica, and the Dominican Republic. Don't hesitate; book this trip! It was a good size group about 14. Be prepared for long drives though. If you are in Punta Cana, it will probably be 12+ hours. If you are in the Miche area, it will be quicker. There are some bumpy roads, so wear a sports bra.

Excellent choice
Impeccable, neat, pretty, excellent. My two kids and I had a blast , I am from Miami and I must say that this park is much better than Rapids at West Palm. It is a little expensive but for the service and experience is a must if your kids have never been to a water park.

We had a great time...
We had a great time traveling with panda. He made sure our trip was safe and awesome. Also, we stop at some awesome spots to experience the Dominican culture.
P.S. be aware of the vultures along the way offering things to buy simply tell them no gracious if not interested
