This was an excellent excursion. We had issues with our buggy, but the staff was there to provide us a new buggy or assist us when we got stuck. You will get muddy for sure. Enjoyed the chocolate/coffee/shopping staff was very friendly. Really enjoyed the beach, but you only get 15 minutes. Would love to have more time there.

I had a great experience riding ATVs in the Dominican Republic. The adventure was exciting from start to finish. Riding through the trails, seeing the beautiful scenery, and feeling the thrill of the ATV made it an unforgettable experience. The guides were friendly and made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable while still having fun. It was the perfect mix of adventure and exploring nature. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the Dominican Republic who is looking for a fun and exciting activity.

Great experience. Follow directions out of the port and ask for DSRR. I ended up the only one on my tour, only my second time on ATV but Starling and Eliezer took great care of me. Had a great ride through jungle and multiple water crossings, some paved roads through villages and great stop at plantation (warning prices for products are high) tried local coffee and hot chocolate. Then a great beach stop where I wished I could have grabbed a chair for the day. I had the most elaborate Pina colada of my life! Great excursion and got me back to Amber Cove with plenty of time to shop and enjoy amenities. Id ask next time for a beach day with transport!

This tour is the real deal if you want to get away from the resorts and experience the countryside. The buggies are a blast, but be warned- you are filthy from head to toe when you are done! The pickup and drop off were great, and Carlos was a great tour guide.

If you are looking for way to see what the DR is like beyond the resort, BOOK THIS! It’s a very eclectic and interesting excursion that allows you to see how an average citizen of the country lives. My wife and I wanted to book something like this and it totally met our expectations, it will keep you busy and having fun the whole time. Also I must mention that our guide, Wester Martinez, was fantastic!

ATV staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They treated us with care from beginning to end. The guy in charge spoke English. The views riding around the island were so beautiful. We also stopped at a local beach that had food/drink and souvenir stands. Be prepared to get dusty and a little wet. Take the goggles and mouth covering when offered. Wear close toed water shoes. Overall the ATV experience was a lot of fun! I highly recommend it!

Wilkin our guide and Paul our driver were incredibly easy going and kind. Wilkin taught us about the local fauna and it was all so interesting. You should know it’s 5km hike and a good portion is up steep hills, we had to take a couple breaks but he was happy to wait for us. The end of the hike ended with a coffee demonstration as well as showing us the real cinnamon and vanilla they grow in the DR. It was great to get out of our hotel and learn more about real Dominican people and culture. I highly recommend if you like to hike and like learning about other ways of life.

Wilken was a great your guide who was patient and willing to answer any questions we had (wanting to know about the place and people we asked many.) The experience was what we were looking for in regard avoiding the typical tourist traps and high pressure sales of "markets." We got to through several small towns, the countryside, and visit a small plantation to see many of the Dominican's offerings. It was nice to feel like we were getting a semi-cultural experience vs the usual zip lining, dune buggies, etc. It was easy riding, very casual, and thoroughly fun. I would definitely encourage others to go for it if it is something on your radar. We did not opt for the hiking option, and we are kicking ourselves for not doing so. The group came to our resort to pick us up and made it a super easy process. It was very cool
