Top Curacao Outdoor Activities

The experience was amazing!!! The staff was attentive, the appetizers were amazing, the entertainment was 10/10 the music was phenomenal. I will say that it’s probably for a crowd 50 and under. The ride itself was smooth. I would highly recommend and I would absolutely do it AGAIN !!!! Literally amazing and exceeded our expectations.

A great relaxing and exciting sailing. 2.5 hours on a catamaran that is so safe and fun! Start off by lifting up, and then down, on nice size waves as the sun comes down too. We enjoyed the very tasty appetizers as staff comes to you. The drinks are top notch and great! Then stopped and watched the sun go down. The staff is more than glad to take your pictures. Then, chill slowly through Spanish waters seeing amazing homes. Shout out to Alex for he really goes above and beyond and cares so much to make you have a great experience.

I saw this activity on Viator and knew immediately that our group had to book this excursion. I watched several videos and felt confident that I’d be able to do this. Fast forward to the actual date and time of the event and I was scared sh*tless! I’m not a strong swimmer and to be quite honest I am terrified of the water. While you don’t have to be a great swimmer it is important that you feel comfortable putting your head under water to get into the scooters helmet. It’s a very short time period, but a lifetime for someone scared of putting their head underwater. Gary and his assistant were sooo patient with me. They allowed me to get out all of my scaries and we finally got started. They give you a tutorial on how to work the scooter and certain hand signals for communication while under water. The scooters are a tad bit slow, but steady enough so that you can enjoy yourself while viewing the fish and other wildlife. If you have inner ear problems be mindful of this activity as the pressure changes and you’ll have to squeeze your nose to alleviate the pressure. Outside of that the tour was one of the most exciting things I’ve ever done (and that says a lot because I’ve done some pretty scary/cool things) in my life. There were so many different fish and we even saw a few turtles. Once we got back there were drinks and music at the dock and they were running a. Valentine’s Day special which included beef and cheese empanadas shaped like hearts with some of the cutest cocktails. I don’t need to do it again, but I’d highly recommend it to anyone who would listen. My group loved this activity and you will too if you love a good adventure!

THIS was a fun day!!! Had so much fun making new foods that I hadn’t made before and tasting new foods I didn’t have a chance to try. My wife who doesn’t cook at all had the best time actually making food. I would fully recommend this to anyone whether they be just foodie eaters but especially to those who like me like the challenge of cooking something new. Helmi is a wonderful host and she will entertain you and teach you something new.

Our tour started outside of the security gate 2 at the Mega Pier and we saw the Tuk Tuks parked across the street. Our guide was Raymond and Everybody Loves Raymond! Very knowledgeable of Curacao history. We saw all the local art and took lots of pictures.

Joyce and Carlos were absolutely incredible Taylor, our request a needs step-by-step dropped us right to the door of the different places and we’re ready to pick us up when we were ready to go. They found an amazing beach to go to and also took good time to take us all the way to the front explain the whole process and wait waited for us until we were ready to get back. This tour was very educational. I enjoyed learning about the country. I also enjoyed the tour guides multi-lingual ability. They made everyone on the tour feel comfortable. The stop we made to eat was absolutely delicious local food was the highlight of my entire trip! I stayed in a resort and there was no local cuisine.

My husband and I took our 8 and 9 year old boys. Hans was VERY friendly and patient with them. He explained the basics of diving in a way that helped them feel at ease. He answered ALL their questions. It was their first time diving. Both were nervous but once they got in the water they felt more at ease. My 8 year old LOVED it and says he wants to go again. The amount of sea life and the diversity of fish and anemone was the best my husband and I have seen yet on a dive. It was our 3rd dive, having been to St. Martin and Cozumel previously. It was like looking in a salt water fish tank only MUCH bigger. Hans has built the reef we toured through his coral nursery program. He personally maintains the reef to encourage this diversity. Hands down best dive to date! 10/10 recommend!
