This cruise was a time! All the crew were so hospitable! I think her name was Leslie, she was amazing through it all! And I wasn’t expecting so many snacks! When I thought about snacks I’m thinking chips or something but they had quality snacks. The sunset was absolutely beautiful! Everything was so worth it! I highly recommend this experience!

On Mondays, the sunset tour is operated using a double-decker motorized catamaran, while on Wednesdays and Fridays, it is operated using a standard catamaran. This sunset trip may take place on either a standard catamaran or a double-decker catamaran, depending on availability. The exact vessel cannot be guaranteed.

Our first time seeing a sunset on the wayer. It was one of the most beautiful sunsets we've experienced. The crew Flavio, Tim and Rosie was out with snacks and drinks at all times. They made our trip one to remember. Thank you to Captain Esther for getting us there and back safely. They all did a spectacular job :) We are thinking of booking another one before heading back home :)

Does what it needed to do - it’s a fun boat to see the sunset with good music. Don’t count on the food (cold things were warm and warm things were kind of cold?), and the drinks were warm at first (they threw them on ice and it was fine) - but honestly, I was not here for a meal. As long as your expectations are for a nice boat around with some fun music, it’s good. Crew were fantastic (even rescued a woman’s shoe when it fell in the ocean).

Plan for traffic

I wasn’t able to make this excursion because I underestimated the travel time to the departure location. If you’re booking this tour, make sure you leave plenty of extra time, especially during rush hour. I was staying in Willemstad and assumed I was close, but the departure point was in Jan Thiel, and traffic was much heavier than expected. I take full responsibility for missing the tour, but I wanted to share this so other travelers can plan ahead. I recommend leaving at least 2 to 2.5 hours early to avoid any issues. Unfortunately, I missed the excursion and was unable to receive a refund, so learn from my mistake and give yourself plenty of time.

Overall this was a nice experience. The crew is amazing and very friendly. The onboard snacks were tasty but freezing cold which was disappointing especially considering there’s a grill onboard. We also enjoyed the seltzers and drinks available. We didnt get to see sunset due to it being cloudy (but of course thats 100% out of the crews control) so points for us were only lost on cold food (cheese empanadas, meatballs, and chicken skewers) and an extremely rough ride which made it difficult to enjoy at times. However, if you can handle a rough ride and don’t mind the snacks being cold. You will thoroughly enjoy!

Staff was exceptional! Boat was clean & captain was strategic about his route to to winds. Music was good. Drinks served by staff to you were cold & refreshing! Three passed hor devours were not warm but tasty. Only allowed one per person, should have been a bit more food.

Not worth the money

Food was cold and mediocre. Small, cramped boat. Couldn’t hear music very well when sitting outside on or near the net. Would not recommend or book again. Staff was nice.

I had an absolutely outstanding experience on this sunset cruise. From start to finish, everything was smooth, welcoming, and beautifully organized. The crew was attentive without being intrusive, and their friendly energy set the tone for a relaxing evening on the water. missed the boat

We booked a sunset SAIL on a catamaran. We were never informed that they changed the boat/ tour and basically the tour company (irie tours) tried to pretend that nothing happened. When they ushered us onto a deck cruiser (parked next to the catamaran), I told the crew we signed up for the sail boat. They took me to the desk and the manager tried to tell me the deck boat “was also a catamaran”. I guess she was hoping I had 1) no idea what I booked 2) didn’t know what a catamaran was. We only had one night, so the manger said we needed to get on the boat or it was leaving and there was no refund. Once on this deck boat- they motored us around some dead end bays in front of large houses. The sunset was pretty - but I would not have booked a ferry boat ride to see it. I do not recommend this tour.

Honestly…. What a fantastic fun evening ! The crew, the boat , drinks (well done !) and the snacks (especially the iguana skewers 🤭) the views and the people we met on board… super way to end an amazing week here in Curacao- Even though our pick up was a bit late (island time !) recommend using the Irie bus pick up option to make sure you get where you need to & on time (traffic can be wild at that time!) So glad we did this trip !

This cruise was the perfect ending to a day in Curacao! The group was not too large, so the boat wasn’t crowded. The timing was excellent to see the sunset over the ocean. There were plenty of drinks and nice snacks throughout. The staff even served food and drinks rather than you having to go to the bar.

Average. No sailing, only motoring.

We were a little disappointed. Firstly, there was no sailing involved. The boat motored around the harbour mostly "showing" us where the rich people's houses were and who lived in which house, which did not interest us as all. We then motored out onto the ocean for 15 minutes to see the sunset before motoring back. The staff was nice and helpful but the cocktails were average and the music choice was more Michael Jackson style than Caribbean vibes.

Overall a wonderful evening cruise. Windy but the captain did a great job in keeping the boat from being too bouncy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We sat on the benches in the back - word of warning the music is very load back there in order for the people sitting in the front of the boat to hear the music. Drinks were great, food was ok, meatballs were the best of the 3 apps served. Chicken on a skewer a little over cooked and empanadas fair at best. Overall a nice evening cruise.

Disappointing Experience

Have very low expectations, and eat before the cruise. We were picked up late, boarded the ship late (as they were bringing ice and drinks onboard), and departed at least 20 minutes late. However, we returned from the sail 20 minutes earlier than scheduled. Food was terrible, even inedible. Drinks were mediocre. We would have appreciated hearing information about where we were and where we were going, the area we were sailing in and the history of it. This was a missed opportunity for education of the passengers. If you like very loud music by Michael Jackson, Cher, and The Bee Gees, this is the cruise for you. We would have appreciated Caribbean music, like Bob Marley, especially being that this is advertised as a Jamaican/Caribbean “good vibes only” cruise. We didn’t observe much interaction between the staff and the passengers. We would not recommend this cruise.

Great views from the catamaran, good food and drinks and a stunning sunset. Followed by a moonlight cruise back to the dock. Crew was very attentive, friendly and always asking if we needed anything. We would definitely recommend this experience. Thank you!
