- On Mondays, the sunset tour is operated using a double-decker motorized catamaran, while on Wednesdays and Fridays, it is operated using a standard catamaran. This sunset trip may take place on either a standard catamaran or a double-decker catamaran, depending on availability. The exact vessel cannot be guaranteed.

Our first time seeing a sunset on the wayer. It was one of the most beautiful sunsets we've experienced.
The crew Flavio, Tim and Rosie was out with snacks and drinks at all times. They made our trip one to remember. Thank you to Captain Esther for getting us there and back safely. They all did a spectacular job :)
We are thinking of booking another one before heading back home :)

be on time! we were delayed because of an accident in the road. got there 7 min late and boat was pulling away from the dock. no refunds.

Super dushi time! Great vibes! Good drinks…go with the Blue Lagoon! Wish we would’ve done more than circles on the boat but that’s a European Boat excursion for you! The Sunset and views were the best! I give this a 9/10 stars!

We booked a sunset SAIL on a catamaran. We were never informed that they changed the boat/ tour and basically the tour company (irie tours) tried to pretend that nothing happened. When they ushered us onto a deck cruiser (parked next to the catamaran), I told the crew we signed up for the sail boat. They took me to the desk and the manager tried to tell me the deck boat “was also a catamaran”. I guess she was hoping I had 1) no idea what I booked 2) didn’t know what a catamaran was. We only had one night, so the manger said we needed to get on the boat or it was leaving and there was no refund. Once on this deck boat- they motored us around some dead end bays in front of large houses. The sunset was pretty - but I would not have booked a ferry boat ride to see it. I do not recommend this tour.

For clarification, our sunset sails are conducted on either a single-hull catamaran or our double-decker motorized catamaran. This information is clearly explained at the time of booking. The type of catamaran used depends on the day and the number of bookings.

Honestly…. What a fantastic fun evening ! The crew, the boat , drinks (well done !) and the snacks (especially the iguana skewers 🤭) the views and the people we met on board… super way to end an amazing week here in Curacao-
Even though our pick up was a bit late (island time !) recommend using the Irie bus pick up option to make sure you get where you need to & on time (traffic can be wild at that time!)
So glad we did this trip !

This cruise was the perfect ending to a day in Curacao! The group was not too large, so the boat wasn’t crowded. The timing was excellent to see the sunset over the ocean. There were plenty of drinks and nice snacks throughout. The staff even served food and drinks rather than you having to go to the bar.

We were a little disappointed. Firstly, there was no sailing involved. The boat motored around the harbour mostly "showing" us where the rich people's houses were and who lived in which house, which did not interest us as all. We then motored out onto the ocean for 15 minutes to see the sunset before motoring back. The staff was nice and helpful but the cocktails were average and the music choice was more Michael Jackson style than Caribbean vibes.

Overall a wonderful evening cruise. Windy but the captain did a great job in keeping the boat from being too bouncy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We sat on the benches in the back - word of warning the music is very load back there in order for the people sitting in the front of the boat to hear the music. Drinks were great, food was ok, meatballs were the best of the 3 apps served. Chicken on a skewer a little over cooked and empanadas fair at best. Overall a nice evening cruise.

Wonderful experience. Lasted the perfect amount of time and Curaçao has the best sunset I’ve ever seen. The open bar was the plus I enjoyed as well.

Have very low expectations, and eat before the cruise. We were
picked up late, boarded the ship late (as they were bringing ice and drinks onboard), and departed at least 20 minutes late. However, we returned from the sail 20 minutes earlier than scheduled. Food was terrible, even inedible. Drinks were mediocre. We would have appreciated hearing information about where we were and where we were going, the area we were sailing in and the history of it. This was a missed opportunity for education of the passengers. If you like very loud music by Michael Jackson, Cher, and The Bee Gees, this is the cruise for you. We would have appreciated Caribbean music, like Bob Marley, especially being that this is advertised as a Jamaican/Caribbean “good vibes only” cruise. We didn’t observe much interaction between the staff and the passengers. We would not recommend this cruise.

Fantastic way to end the day. Beautiful sunset and the crew was amazing. Everyone on board was friendly and it made for an enjoyable evening. Cocktails/beers/wine and snacks being included was a plus (again, staff was amazing serving everyone quickly)

Great views from the catamaran, good food and drinks and a stunning sunset. Followed by a moonlight cruise back to the dock. Crew was very attentive, friendly and always asking if we needed anything. We would definitely recommend this experience. Thank you!

Don’t go hungry. Snacks are VERY limited!
Maybe leave 15-20 minutes earlier. Sunset came and went by time we got to the spot. Traveling back in the dark.

The best part of the this was the bus ride. The driver was funny and friendly. As far as the boat I would suggest bringing camp chairs as there is no where to sit other than the floor or a few seats in the back of the boat. So you will either stand or sit on the floor of the front of the boat packed like sardines with other people. They fail to tell you upon booking that the boat makes a stop at Sandals Resort which makes the boat packed and uncomfortable. Bring your own food or just starve like we did. The food was one small cold meatball, a chicken skewer and a small cheese pastry. I would also suggest taking Dramamine because the waves are big on the way to where they take you. The views from the boat to the left when it stopped to see the sunset was some ugly industrial area. On our way back we just circled around in the dark for a half hour before dropping of the Sandals people. Could not wait to get off the boat. Not worth the money at all.

We’d like to clarify that this is a catamaran, where seating is designed to be on the front nets, the deck floor, as well as seats inside and at the back of the vessel, which is standard for this type of boat and part of the sailing experience.
We do make a stop at Sandals Resort; however, our maximum capacity is 56 guests, so the number of passengers on board does not change whether we pick up there or not. We regret that the food and overall atmosphere were not what you had hoped for, and we sincerely apologize that the experience did not go as planned for you. Your comments are noted and appreciated.

It was fantastic for the most part. The crew was very attentive! I say fantastic for the most part because for about the last half hour we had to witness a show from three 20 something girls who were barely covered and pretty much trying to see how dirty their dancing could be. My husband actually got up and moved because they were behaving so raunchy and practically took over our seating area. I know this doesn’t always happen on the cruises and it’s not the crew’s fault but it was very uncomfortable. Other than that it was a great cruise.

11/28/25 we went on cool runnings yacht, the sunset weren't great due to clouds. However the crew were awesome and very attentive. we had great time! Would do it again next time hoping for a good clear sunset view!

Very chill relaxing time great sunset view. They provided drinks and light snacks. Everything was pretty cool. We sat at the very top. It was windy but that was to be expected. If you just want something chill this is the boat for you.
