Absolutely worth every penny. This was a great experience and money well spent, well organized and the instructor was really fun and super cool she was great

This tour was excellent. Our tour guide, naomi, was funny and interesting and really showed off the local culture very well. The snorkeling was phenomenal and the caves were great experience but be prepared to climb a lot of stairs. Overall a superb tour

Tour guide Naomi was fun and interesting. We had an issue with the bus in the morning that caused a delay. Tour company sent another bus but that took over an hour. We all enjoyed swimming with turtles, although it was quite crowded. The second beach stop was beautiful and we all enjoyed lunch and the water there. Caves were interesting. You spend more time on the bus than visiting the stops. Enjoyed the stops.

Turtles were awesome. (my oldest said that it was "A little less magical to see the guts they feed them" to keep them coming, but still great.)
the turquoise beach break had jelly fish, so no one wanted to swim (March). So I rented a kayakish body platform to lay down on for $10 with a window (same result as snorkeling) and my 12 year old had a blast. He saw an eel that was longer than him that came out of its hole and he wasn't scared (due to the physical barrier). I snorkeled with our own equipment and enjoyed it. I had long sleeves and maybe I am old enough that the stings didn't bother me?
There is a lunch offered for extra money (so be aware of that)---like expensive burgers.
Don't pet the beach cats at the beach break. Seemed friendly to my teen, but attacked one of my teens. (i wasn't there-- i wouldn't have advised petting a beach cat anyways). They do not provide snorkel stuff for beach break, just the turtle experience. Important to note. Very expensive to rent snorkel stuff. (not expensive to rent the yellow kayak board with the window to see fish) Careful which tree you sit under for beach break. My lips blew up the next day after spitting gum into a dead leaf (to throw away). Later saw the sign the tree was toxic.
The tour guide gave little warning of the plan. Bus would be stopping and very brief directions given while stopping. Would have been nice to get a better description of the plan a little sooner.
Would have liked more history and/or facts. But got to see what felt like the whole island. (in general the country could use an adopt a highway--but overall beautiful). I would recommend this tour. I would bring beach drinks. They do provide a snack after the turtles (mini pringles) and drink after the cave.
I was concerned about missing the tour as our cruise disembarked at 8:30am and it took off from the pier at 8:45am. The meeting tent was at the far end of the sidewalk from the ship. However, it was easy to find and I was in no danger of missing it. Also if on a cruise, pro tip---- there were two disembarkation points from the ship. one was empty (we saw after we got off) and the other was like a 10 minute wait, even though we were in line like 15 min before the gangway opened.
The caves were good (not cool if you are wanting a cold cave to get out of the heat). I'd bring a little cash for the cave snacks.

We had a great time. The turtles were amazing. I just wish it wasn’t so crowded. Naomi was a wonderful tour guide. Playa Kalki was absolutely beautiful!
Vassiliki_P, Apr 2026
Ali and Naomi are exceptional guides, with lots of local information very comfortable bus and company communicates well
Aleta_F, Mar 2026
Had a fantastic time on this tour! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and really went the extra mile, adjusting our schedule to ensure we had the best possible chance to swim with sea turtles. Seeing the flamingos and relaxing on the beautiful western beach were major highlights. Topping it off with the Hato Caves—a total must-see—made for a perfect day. The tour delivered exactly what was promised. Highly recommend!
Nick_K, Mar 2026
The guide was very knowledgeable. He explained things in great detail. The tour is pretty long and doesn’t include food. There was the possibility of ordering food at the last beach stop, however. Otherwise be prepared with some snacks.
Sierra_H, Mar 2026
This tour was awesome, we walked through the caves, saw flamingos and swam with the sea turtles. Our tour guide was very nice, friendly and knew all of the curacao history.
I would recommend wearing water shoes. Also, this tour said it was 5/6 hours, but from pickup to drop off it was more like 7/8 hours. It wasn't a problem for us and not sure if that's normal. There were stops with snack bars and restaurants.
Aleta_M, Mar 2026
This was a very nice tour. The turtles were amazing and the second beach was very nice. Max and the driver everybody in the tour company were great. Learned a lot about Curacao. Was a very nice day and a highly recommend this tour.
Iris_B, Mar 2026
This was such a fun way to explore the island. The sea turtles were amazing to see. Such a fun filled day.
Bruce_T, Mar 2026
Sea turtles were awesome- a bit crowded.
Kalki Beach break - rocky tiny crowded beach - $20 per chair not included
Hato caves were ok; guide there was awesome
Bus was an antique
Our guide was great but tour was advertised as 5-6 hours. It was just under 7 giving us no time to walk around town.
Shelli_B, Mar 2026
We just came off of UTVing in Aruba so it might have affected our rating a bit. This was so so. Caves were ok, snorkel with turtles was ok and the beach was small. Honestly nothing too exciting.
Nick_B, Mar 2026
Great experience! We enjoyed swimming with the sea turtles & our tour guide from Netherlands was great. She did a wonderful job detailing the points of interest along the the way.
Anna_L, Mar 2026
Our tour started later than we planned, not the operators fault. We wanted to see other stuff and were limited on time being on a ship, so we skipped out early and caught a cab back.
Sea Turtles- if you’d not done this before it’s a pretty cool opportunity to swim around them. Don’t mess with them please. Water shoes a must! There are sharp rocks all the way into the water. Some entry spots have dead corral and other debris. It’s very hard to get in and out without them. If you have done this before, it’s nothing new.
Hato caves-the whole thing should have been 10 minutes. Our cave guide wasn’t that engaging or happy to be there. I heard from others who did it in another group that theirs was awesome, so luck of the draw there. It’s drawn out bc of the amount of people going in and out. Unless you’re super into this, it’s not a must do. There are lots of huge iguanas around there to see.
Last beach stop. You’re encouraged and dropped off at the restaurant. We were wanting to get back, so called for a taxi and while waiting had lunch. Get the local fare here, it was delicious. The burger isn’t.
Anita our guide was great, informative and funny.
It’s a 45 minute drive between caves and beach, turtles stop. It’s a $100 taxi if you want to dip out early and head back to town. This is probably the cheaper way to see both the caves and turtles vs grabbing a taxi to both spots. But if time is a consideration I’d go the taxi route.
Laura_C, Mar 2026
Fun tour where sea turtles swim right up to you in the shallow water.
The tour guide is a native of Curacao so you get great information and stories.
Anne_M, Mar 2026
This was a good way to see the island. We saw flamingos, snorkeled with turtles and went to a beach. The beach was very crowded hence 4 stars. The guide Marsha was absolutely terrific! Very knowledgeable and fun. My highlight was the caves at the end of the day. Really interesting
Matthew_M, Mar 2026
Marsha was awesome! Very knowledgeable and friendly to everyone. Made sure everyone was enjoying themselves while on the excursion. Interacted with alot of the guest that were taking this excursion and kept everyone involved.
Donica_E, Mar 2026
This excursion was jam packed with activities. The time went really fast. Everything as listed happened. Our bus driver, Viktor was excellent. It was easy to tell he had been driving large vechicles for a long time. Our tour operator (sorry forgot name), was great. She was knowledgable and passionate about the turtles and caves. Water and chips were provided. Overall 10+ tour for us!
Jeanette_K, Mar 2026
We had such a wonderful experience on this tour! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much interesting information along the way. Every stop was beautiful and thoughtfully chosen, making the whole day enjoyable and memorable. We truly loved exploring the island and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting!
Pollie_B, Mar 2026
Our guide was lovely and very engaging. The experiences were well thought out and appropriately timed. This was a very nice day for us.

We completely agree—one day in Curaçao is never enough! We hope to welcome you back soon to explore even more of our beautiful island.
Stephanie_W, Mar 2026
The tour was very informative and interesting. Swimming with sea turtles was awesome! However the 2 hour stop at the touristy, packed beach was too long and got to be a waste of time.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We’re happy to hear that you found the tour informative and interesting, and that swimming with the sea turtles was such an awesome experience!
We also appreciate your comments regarding the beach stop. The visit to Playa Kalki is included in the tour because it is one of the most requested stops by many of our guests, who enjoy the opportunity to relax, swim, or snorkel in its beautiful turquoise waters. However, we truly value your feedback and will certainly keep it in mind as we continue to improve our tours and guest experience.
Thank you again for choosing Samurai Curaçao Tours & Transfers, and we hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back to Curaçao in the future.
Betsy_F, Feb 2026
I just found that there was a little lack of directions. They brought us to turtle beach but didn't offer snorkel gear and tour guide stayed on bus. Has to go back to bus. Didn't know we could bring camera into caves.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about the Island Treasures: Caves, Turtles and Turquoise Beach Break tour. We truly appreciate your comments.
We are sorry to hear that some parts of the experience were not as clear as they should have been. Snorkel gear is indeed included in the tour, and we regret if this was not communicated clearly at the time of your visit. We will certainly review this with our team to ensure our guests receive clearer directions during the tour.
Regarding the caves, cameras are allowed, and we are sorry if that information was not mentioned clearly before entering.
Thank you again for your feedback, as it helps us improve our tours and guest experience. We hope you still enjoyed seeing the turtles and exploring Curaçao, and we would be happy to welcome you again in the future.
Destini_M, Feb 2026
Wonderful experience! Got to go to two different beaches and you practically explore the whole island.
James_R, Feb 2026
Hato Cavern was nice, though average compared to others we've seen. Swimming with the turtles was more wading than swimming, but fun nonetheless. The beach break and lunch was fine, though crowded. Our guide, Anita, was what made the trip worthwhile. She was a fount of information and a hoot to boot.
Ria_R, Feb 2026
The experience was amazing. This was well worth swimming with the turtles. The Hato caves was a great experience. Everything was fabulous including our tour guide Anita 2/5/26.
Carol_J, Feb 2026
It was a great tour. The caves were very interesting. Snorkeling with the turtles was so cool. And the last beach we went to was beautiful. Definitely wear water shoes because the beaches are rocky. Bring a towel for sure. At the last beach, there’ are places that you can rinse off and change clothes if you don’t want to have damp clothes on. It was an amazing day.
Taylor_L, Feb 2026
Absolutely amazing to tour!!!
The staff and booking so friendly and wonderful!
The tour guide and bus driver amazing!
Absolutely amazing experience we loved every second of it!
Highly recommended
Stan_N, Feb 2026
What a great tour! Our tour guide, Anita, was fantastic!! Her love for Curaçao was contagious and her knowledge of the Island's history left a strong impression on us.
The tour started at the Hato Caves which was great to visit. We learned about the Caves' rich history and enjoyed the sights that the Caves offered.
Then we went to Daaibooi Beach to swim with the sea turtles. The tour's original itinerary had us going to another beach, but Anita explained that this beach was much cleaner and prettier. No complaints about our experience here! The experience of swimming with the turtles was magical. There were also many fish visible in the clear water as well. Just a great experience that leaves a lasting impression! Separate from the "turtle area", the main beach area also looked great!
Then it was off to Playa Kalki for a couple of hours. We started with the opportunity to order lunch from the restaurant on the beach. As stated in the tour's description, lunch is not included, however you do get the chance to order food if you desire. The beach was very beautiful, but a bit rockier than you might be used to. Water shoes would definitely be recommended. The water was very clear and calm. As with many of the beaches we visited in Curaçao there were a lot of people on the beach and space is at a premium.
Overall, we had a fantastic day in Curaçao, and I highly recommend this tour when visiting Curaçao!
